Full with band vs full with sleeve.
I understand this and have been doing this but I think it would be helpful to know what it feels like if you misjudge! To prevent it from happening if possible!

Full with band vs full with sleeve.
So we all know that it feels hugely different. I am on puréed and am having trouble knowing what full is. I can tell you I am satisfied with a small amount of food and once or twice I've gone over and I feel slightly nauseas. Any help former banders? What else should I be feeling here

Back! 10 days out!
I pulled something! I was just getting back into things I'm so bummed and no Advil. What should I do?

I was literally in tears
Isn't it great!? I'm also down quite a bit at about 10 days. Crazy. I'm only recording once a week though do I don't get discouraged with fluctuations. Good luck!

Caffeine
I'm allowed up to 16oz if surgery immediately post op. Had my first today. In fact my nut suggested mixing protein powder into iced coffee.

June 30th Sleevers?
I feel fine. On purred since Tuesday. Only time I know I've had surgery is when I'm approaching 3-4oz range with my puréed food then I feel nauseas. Not fun. I recommend refried beans, shelly's baked ricotta and puréed turkey chili. I thin everything with fat free sour cream.

Yoplait light

Band to Sleeve lose more slowly?
That's what I was saying.... Compared to non-banders I think we lose slower. But right now, I'd love to lose anything! I think we just have to take what we have. I'm sure there are many factors contributing to success for former band patients.

Band to Sleeve lose more slowly?
I don't think 30lbs in 2 months is slow. I would be very happy with that.

What does it feel like to have the sleeve v. band?
I've been measuring my food. What does it feel like when you need to stop?

Eating 8 days out?
I have to say I do know something happened because of the nausea that occurs sometimes.

Eating 8 days out?
No problem! Please let me know how it goes! I was surprised it was so easy, granted I was super cautious and only ate a bit weighing and measuring everything!

Eating 8 days out?
So I'm 8 days out and my plan calls for puree. I've had refried beans, baked ricotta and tonight about 1 oz of mashed up baked tilapia. No problems. I've also had no problems getting my fluids in. I feel like I should be grateful but I'm almost concerned that it's too easy! Far easier than my lab band food phase in. Can anyone relate?

What does it feel like to have the sleeve v. band?
The risk of leaks is 2x as high in revision patients. 2 separate procedures minimizes that risk.

Nausea from eating question
Ha after I wrote this I burped and feel a bit better. My kids were very amused.

Nausea from eating question
I'm 6 days out and nausea mostly gone. Been going fine with soups and liquids. Tonight I made chicken soup for my kids and took a mug of broth for myself to drink. I may have gone too fast or maybe it had a little fat in it but I feel awful now. Does this make sense to anyone? What can I do?

Gastric Sleeve Surgery went Great!
I'm the same. It's great that we can drink. Starting purred tomorrow

Weird pain when eating
So I am 5 days out. Aside from no appetite I've been fine and getting fluid/soup in ok. Today I blended and strained some black bean soup then added milk. After a few spoonfuls I got a weird pain in my shoulder and EAR. Weird right? Is this referred pain?

Band to sleeve in one surgery. Who's had it done that way? How long had you had your band? What was your recovery like? Any complications? Regrets?
I have been getting under 500 since 6/30. I'm not sure how to get more in on this diet.

Labor Day Challenge!
I had surgery Tuesday so I have no idea how to set a goal but I guess I'd like to be 229? That would mean about 28 loss in 2 months.
