Got sleeved by Dr. David Kim yesterday! It went so week I went home late that same evening. I have some left side pain from the incision where they removed the stomach. Other than that my throat is really sore from the tube. Drinking 1oz of fluids every 15 mins and walking all the time! Walking makes such a huge difference! Walk walk walk!

Thank you Fit! The surgery went so well I got to go home the same day! I'm at home recovering now.

Hey All, Downtown Dallas here! Dr. Kim and I have a date on 9/25 :-)

Hi Emma! Congrats sweetie on sticking with the process. My first visit to Dr. Kim was 7/9. I've had the scope, nutrition class and passed cardiac clearance. My university class and pre-op is on 9/9. I will start my liquid diet on 9/18 and surgery is 9/25. WLS is a policy exclusion on my insurance so I qualified for the MBA program so I didn't have to jump through the insurance required hoops per say. Let's keep in touch. Happy to give you some insight since I'm rather month ahead of you. Thanks for the good luck wishes!
