  1. I dad a BMI of 31 and I just kept gaining weight. I went to Mexico to R. Alvarez who is an amazing surgeon. I'm 11 weeks out. I'm 5'5, start weight of 184. I've lost 24 pounds. My goal is 23 more pounds. It's slower going with a lower BMI but doable, and so rewarding! Go for it! You won't be sorry.
  2. I'm I'm AZ. Went to Mexico to Dr. Alvarez. Everything is ok, no complications. I'm so glad I did this!

  9. I'm in a stall too for a week now. I'm getting about 80 grams protein, 64 oz water, and about 800 calories. I'm 11 weeks out. Is this common at 11 weeks post surgery? How can I break it?
  10. I'm 63 and a slow loser. Started with a BMI of 31. I've lost 23 pounds 11 weeks out. I have 46 pounds to lose so I've lost 50% of my excess weight. I've really slowed down this last month although I'm following my program.
  11. My doctor uses a 32 boogie and I'm fine. No complications. I'm almost 3 months post op. Prayers for your daughter! Who was her surgeon? Do you have any updates?
  12. My BMI was 31 on the day of surgery. It's now 26.8. Can't wait until I'm normal BMI!
  13. I went to Dr. Guillermo Alvarez after reading a ton of reviews. He had the most, all positive. I had an amazing experience! 4 surgeons checked on me throughout the two days I was there. Everything was done for you so all I had to do was show up in San Antonio. Dr. Alvarez is really wonderful.
  14. I have been temping at a company and am getting hired there permanently. I got the sleeve surgery while I was temping. As part of the hiring process, I have to fill out a health questionnaire and list all surgeries. Could my boss find out I had the surgery when I didn't tell him I was having surgery?
  15. I don't like the way I feel after I eat. I'm 10 weeks pot op. Does it get better over time?
  16. I found an excellent doctor who has done more than 6000 sleeves. Dr. Alvarez. He is amazing and it was so easy.
  17. Raspberries or boysenberries with fat free sugar free whipped cream. Yummy!
