  1. i still find it strange a grown man felt it appropriate to share his bed w/children that wasn't his own. whether something happened or not - he sure set himself up for impropriety to be inferred.....and if your livlihood is your reputation, like his drug addiction - maybe no one could have helped him & his infatuation w/small kids......
  2. i'm thinking i sure hope he didn't spend all his payoff money in one place. if i were the estate, i would be going after those funds.
  3. can't imagine why not - won't look pretty. lentils can look grey/brown when cooked down.....
  4. hell of a time for my house & isp tower to get hit w/lightening last night - SO much PJTP. back to the living: while DH is an engineer & did all the design work - his putter & fix only applies to electronics. he built a music studio & media rm....and that he handled 100%. the rest of the house he "designed" but could care less how it comes to be. re- red, he will sit under a tree watching squirrels ALL DAY long. loves to chase them - i'll find one half dead from fright sitting right next to him ... he'd never bite into one. i saw the pics on FB - how is the babe today? so unlike a labs behaviour, but the streets probably allowed for aggression to settle in. to me, this is worse than the anger/tears. when the emotion is somewhat out and your just "whatever" - the checking out stage i call it. while i have no experience with what your having to deal with - i am truly sorry. the ladies above gave great advice, financial autonomy is where i would concentrate most.....however that's managed.
  5. sadie a beagle kc? here is my BIG baby (115lb) - gotta love a lab "Red" is his name:
  6. really refraining from comment KC - battery objects work OK???:tt2::thumbup::tt2::skep:
  7. LOL - :skep: just saw your post on the food thread - have you tried making a pot of lentils??? i swear you'll love it, ask taps:wink2: ******FORGOT on previous post ..... happy bday heartfire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******
  8. * taps, i'll take you up on the "offer". i even have the electrical output - my parents have a winnebago that they travel & visit me w/ & park on our ranch. i have a list of "stuff" for your hubby, he'll likely have a 115lb lab follow him around as his buddy for your time here.....starts on list. * oregano - anything italian & greek.. i like chicken rolls.....flatten out chicken breast, in the middle lots of oregano & feta cheese. roll it up & bake.....it's also great in greek salad & any red sauce. if over flowing - throw some in a jar w/water like wildflowers & enjoy the smell if you can't use just right away. * ktork, brandy~ here is also in oregon:) * chocolate - i'm such a savory chick; can walk away from the sweets - but cheese & salty chips are SUCH a downfall. STILL:ohmy: * KC, i'm married to an Engineer/gadget whore. he actually made a manual (glouc) on how to work everything in our media rm, when he's traveling. pictures & all - ask SNT...LOL because i would call him on how to change a channel or fix the volume - how does the tivo work w/out turning off the security cameras???? * back on bandwagon tomorrow; i will say eating has never been more enjoyable than these last 2 days; those 11lbs are DEF back on the ASS *(see chicken thread)*
  9. * CAN'T give up my books, i've tried - i let my nieces "borrow my nancy drew collection"...then made my brother ship them back....i inherited my great grandmothers library as i would sneak in as a kid and get lost. the leatherbound charles dickens collection alone is one of my prized favorite things. i view books, especially old ones like "art" - so i'm having mohogany bookshelves built in on just about every wall downstairs. * TPG, i got the cutest dog X5:wink2: i'd have much more & did - but have 2 old ones that need extra TLX. * TPG, susan's a great admin - that thread shouldn't have been closed because the topic is quite relevant. just roll w/it, or send her a note. ok - patio w/margaritas is calling my name, last day taking advantage of eating what i want...cheers all!
  10. love that movie - did you see RKO 281 the HBO movie about the making of CK? john malchovich (SP?) was awesome. ummmmmmmmm NOOOOOOOOOO, KC - i put the request in first!!! my house is a MESS. DH and i live upstairs for the most part as that remodel is complete & downstairs is ripped up. my contractor is on vacation for a month (courtesy of me bankrolling him....:tongue2:). we plan on finishing after labor day - it's just too hot and i don't want workers in/out while i got my butt in the pool:scared2:
  11. well now, you are coming to this site for guidance from us former / current fat asses, can't actually pick how that is delivered. some are brutally honest, some sugar coat......if you don't care for how someone responds to you - put them on ignore *block* them. goes to make my fat ass Breakfast...
  12. go to the nearest airport - select flight to DFW, i'll come pick you up - you can clean & organize till your hearts content. i'll have diner & wine waiting:)
  13. glad your back GG! i'm giving myself the wkend to eat what i want & will check back in on monday. been a LONG time since food tasted good, and today i've had a nibble of just about everything that's crossed my path - sangria included. happy wkend all!
  14. got all by 1.5ccs of my fill taken out yesterday - so i did enjoy food just a bit:rolleyes: b- peach/mango protein smoothie l- 4 chick fila nuggets d- approx 1cup of moo shu pork (no pancake) just filling s- wine & fresh melon & berries
  15. i give him crap & so does his friends - till he cooks for them..he's actually very good. i shouldn't complain, i just laugh at our role reversals...:tongue2: guess i need my sunscreen - he just left for the store w/his shopping list....
  16. everytime i pop into his office he has marth or ellen on. told him the other day i want his man card back & his cowboy season ticket seat.
  17. DH and i are just looking at one another - as to who is going to get on the tractor & mow/clean pool or hit up the farmers market. he's gotten in touch w/his feminen side lately watching martha stewart & has a great recp he wants to cook tonight - so therefore he should go shopping......has NOTHING to do w/it being in the high 90's already:blushing:
  18. welcome!! NOTHING wrong w/that, sounds like a good night to me! that's great taps!! maybe you can catch a nap on this rainy day? enjoying a saturday am - one in which i was able to guzzle my snapple diet peach tea. i can tell how open my band is - so need to hit my farmers market and stock up on good stuff, cause my quantities are about to go up!!!:tongue2: have a good sat all!
  19. fantastic!! & plain doesn't play on the wkend - only on FB :cool2:
  20. hey TPG - your band profile lists you as a male, you & plain might have more in common that i thought :cool2:
  21. mine USE to qualify for it's own zip code - now it reasonably shares the same space as myself. ......checks the sex organs, yep - boobs are having it out w/mother nature & gravity....:cool2: kat is druming up business like KC!
  22. my guess is you'll be moderated. everyone gave you sound advice - dropping weight has nothing to do with the post op liquid diet. it's about healing, in fact my dr suggested i not pay attention to the scale till i was on to actual food. go do a search here on how so many are scared to enter the mushy/food stage because they'll gain some weight back after being on liquids for several wks. it will happen, which is why there is the healing phase & the "living" with the band life. very likely one will not know of any damage done till several months out.......but it's your band, you do what you wish .
  23. more on the "joyfully intoxicated/dancing w/young men" - !!! glass #2 of wine - it is 5'oclock somewhere, just not in TX at the moment:)
  24. personally - i don't care for fage.....much too thick for me. i prefer either oikos or chobani - both of these come either plain or with a fruit (peach/blueberry - my favs). if i buy the plain - i cook with that a lot in replacement of sour cream or heavy cream for a sauces....if it's for Breakfast, i like honey & granola as an additive.
