i have endometriosis, and it was severe enough to have medical attention last summer. rather than a hysterectomy - i had novasure (endometrial ablation). i would say that it has cured all problems associated (bleeding/cramping/etc) by 85%. good luck.
  2. if not mistaken - there is an older 10cm band that will only hold 4cc's of saline.....it's not the same as newer AP 10cc version. funky - i'm at 7.2ccs maintaining & was up to 8.5ccs during weightloss.
  3. was this for something new that happened or previous complaint against you.?. very sorry ebony - i don't have much advice for you but can send you a cyber (((HUG))).
  4. LOL - unfortunately that's only a 1/4 of the back property
  5. told dh about the windows last night - he wasn't all that pissed at me, but he did pull the bills out: each repair was $490.66. not sure who said it here, but he said the first one he could cough up as an accident - twice, she's just not being parented properly. not sure what i'm doing w/the bills just yet. * heartfire - sounds like i nice hike w/your family! * taps - hope your neck is feeling better / you too G4E. * woke up way EARLY (lol susan) to jump on the tractor & mow before it hits 110 today. it would be so boring w/out my ipod:) here's a pic of my handy work:
  6. yesterday - b- greek yogurt w/honey s- ostrich jerky stick l- .5c tuna w/multi grain wheat thins d- black bean & corn salad w/ grilled chicken
  7. look at the BAD ASS that is CERADAD!!!!:wub::frown: really you look great - you'll need to be that fit to deflect the barbs coming your way this football season..:w00t: oh & KC is a football fan - not sure what team though??? sat - weight training boot camp sun/mon - NOTHING - pulled a muscle in my back sat so i'm taking a break on weight training for a wk, maybe 2. today - 30min stairmaster / 30min treadmill
  8. my take is not the norm - at least on this site. my dr's practice does not have a mandate that you "can't drink w/your meals" - some can ... some can't. i can & do. some meals make it more difficult than others & i may just take a few sips here or there - but then i might make a great meal that just tastes better w/a glass of wine. i don't keep myself restricted to the point that eating what i want & having a sip of tea/wine/water would be a problem. when it has become difficult - i've gotten an unfill. my dr made a great point once - there is the rest of the world that diets & exercises that has drinks w/their meals. at the end of the day it's calories in & calories out. not sure why so many here feel that drinking will halt your progress or stretch your pouch - i just don't buy it. but again, i'm not the norm on this subject.
  9. LOLOLOLOLOL bout' spit my coffee out at that one. i had a bad experience w/a chiro (an no not because i didn't get a happy ending SNT>.....) but i know many that get great relief. glad you are G4E!!!!
  10. totally agree - all my mom had to do was turn , well "snap" her head around and give us the look to "STOP" whatever we were doing in public that she did not approve of. we also grew up in a close neighborhood & if someone saw us do something wrong - my mom knew about it before we got home. i just don't get turning a blind eye here. my limited exposure to kids are my friends & brothers - and they all MIND.... thanks for the input all - i was pissed last night and almost told DH about the windows ... but he would have had a fit more than likely on me cause i let him try to fix it in the heat. i think beth's idea is how i'll handle, well that is if she ever comes out of the house....LOL **susan** how are you doing w/the sleeve?
  11. i don't think her changing the gate code will be such an issue. i had gone to bed really early last night & dh woke me up to let me know my big guy lab was still out. i got in the truck, rang the front gate - it buzzed open, saw the front door open up and my dog came out. i was a bit snippy leaving & coming home (from being woken up), and when we got back DH asked whats the deal - i told him i called the girl DQ.....he laughed. kat , i had be very nice to this kid - her bday was last month & i had a balloons sent...she is just a piece of work, and if her mom wants to be pissy and ignore me - that will be just fine. personally i like her dogs better than her. thanks! **fanny - hope this second potential buyer is the one** i knew you'ld like it here KC!!!
  12. yesterday b- bare naked cereal w/2% milk - about .5c l- shrimp cocktail w/pico & avocado s- handful of nuts d - half pb&j w/glass of milk
  13. kat - i'm good w/non kid issues, i would block the EX & neighbor. DH and i moved 1.5hrs away from his EX on purpose - FB requests, i ignore unless i know you. re - truck, if DH knew that neighbors daughter broke both windows he'd have an f'in FIT. he tried to fix the second window last wk, 105 degrees sweating his ass off .... but it too ended up at the dealership. if he ever reads this my ooops i'm DEAD...LOL while i have no kids - i'm aunt to MANY. every summer my nieces/nephews come to TX to ride horses/play - escape....let my brothers and their wives have down time. i get to be a parent 10 days a yr. but my my brothers lay down the law that what aunt lu says - consider it the law as if coming from them. what's odd is - i have access to her (neighbors) gate codes & likewise. when i went over there today, when my lab was out wondering....she changed them. fine i can do the same, but really it's that easy than actually parenting???
  14. **mac/cheese - my mom hates blue cheese, so when i make it for her i either use gruyere (swiss type) or smoked gouda.** - forgot i add an egg to the mix. i'm bad w/recps as i cook on the fly. ok have a pjtp - neighbor. ** disclosure - i have no kids** we are not overly close but talk several times a wk - she has older boys, and a 6yr old girl. one of my labs goes to visit her dogs via the pond that connects our 2 properties. we are 67 acres apart - so not kissing cousins. my gripe - her daughter. VERY rude. the minute her mom and i talk - she starts crying or pulling on 'mom', interrupts the conversation or starts climbing on my truck and jumping up/down on it. mom says nothing. 2 wks ago she got in front of her mom who was talking to me through my truck window and she grabbed onto the window and was just hanging. i told her to get down when i heard "crush". sure enough the window broke inside the panel - $400 to fix. said nothing. come out of their home last wk - same brat is hanging on the back window - window breaks again inside the pannel - another $400. yesterday - i went to go fetch my lab, they were all in the pool, when said brat starting screaming - i told her to hush DQ. she asked what i meant by DQ i said DRAMA QUEEN. your mother and i are talking. mom wasn't happy w/me at all - but damn....check your kid or shall i say write me a check. so for the parents out there - and i know this mom knows what this kid did each time to the windows as it's hard not to heard glass break - this mom does NOTHING, to correct this girl. how else do i handle??? as we WILL interface all the time as our dogs go back/forth & i have no intention of moving anytime soon....??
  15. i guess - i'm a slave to the house today waiting on AC guy/direct TV & a fed exp pckg for DH that needs signed. that' and a pile of laundry that gets attention when not on the laptop:)
  16. hey now!!! - HA!! honestly - this banding is one of the very few things i have taken seriously. i'm told i'm very lax, which is why i'm less concerned with how someone loses weight here, what plan their on - rather that they get the desired results.
  17. kc - you need to post here MORE!!!! heartfire - hope the pup is doing better today. babygirl - i'd have NO problem paying that ticket  slim - that was very sweet of your son. quiet wkend - quiet monday....
  18. LOL - my thin friends are more crazed than i am in what they put in their mouth, how often they are at the gym, and their next appt w/their plastic surgeon...LOL:)
  19. i did too last wk. this was a bad wkend with snacking from party sat afternoon - to yesterday lounging around the pool. peanut m&m's & ice cream sandwich was my downfall this past wkend:)
  20. yesterday - b- slice of provalone & rice chips l- 2oz ginger sesame salmon s- other half bag of m&m's d- chick pea salad approx 1c (romaine/shredded parmesean/pepercinis/chickpeas & light greek dressing) s- mini ice cream sandwich
  21. yesterday - b- bowl of edamame l&d - went to an afternoon cocktail party and picked: hummus & pita/fresh veggies/goat cheese mini quiche/chicken kabob/fruit/wine s- half a bag of peanut m&ms':blushing:
  22. yesterday - b- slice WW toast w/butter - glass of 2% milk s- ostrich jerkey stick l- blackbean/corn salad w/grilled shrimp (3) d- few bites homemade mac/cheese - glass of cabernet s- ice cream sandwich *didn't need*
  23. * beth, DH had a corvette for yrs - he sold it when we moved to the country because our driveway is a dirt road essentially....have fun in OC, use to spend my summers there as a kid - is phillips restaurant still open??? * kat, VERY grateful your DH is all ok, how scary. the bike can always be fixed! * heartfire, i know what your going through. my golden is on insulin shots twice a day & w/the heat she barely lifts her head up off the cold tile most days. i'm just managing her health till the vet says it's time - right now it's not. sorry your dealing w/it - pets can just crush ya when sick or when you have to put them down (sorry beth). * 105 weather, suppose to get to 110 today.....nobody is foolish to run or do much after noon time. i've just come in from mowing several acres - jumped in the pool and it wasn't even refreshing. * mac/cheese. NOT low cal: 1.5lb med shells 1c cream half stick butter 1c blue cheese 1.5lb pancetta 1c panko breadcrums boil & cook pasta, dice up pancetta & saute' till crisp - remove, add butter & cream (s&p) to cooked/drain pasta, fold in blue cheese - add to baking dish. breadcrumbs on top then bake 375 @25mins. you can modify anyway - good news, could only eat 4 bites. * taps, that is just disguting invading a procession like that. you will get a ticket in TX if you interrupt a funeral at any stage where there is a police escort. your right - your day, better than the policemans family. very sad. *think this was my longest post - LOL, have a good wkend all*
  24. pjtp - DH came home from wk, wanting comfort food vs going out. i haven't made it since banding but i am cooking blue cheese/pancetta mac & cheese w/panko breadcrumb topping.... i feel the butt spreading w/out haven taken one bite....:tongue_smilie:
