Hi Deb! Congratulations on the surgery. At 4 weeks out, the worst is behind you! This Sunday will be my 1-year "bandiversary". I consider it to be the one of the best things I've ever done. I was lucky and had no complications. The best part: I have lost 117 pounds. I'm even able to run 3 miles every other day! That's something I never dreamed I'd do. I can't say that I LOVE to do it, but I do it JUST BECAUSE I CAN!!!!! I also had Dr. Kemmerling. Don't you love Mary E.?! She's the best. Good luck to you! Please keep us updated on your progress. Hey, Sorry I didn't notice your reply til now. I haven't been around much lately. Yep, I'm still losing. Sometimes I'm not quite sure how! I was hoping to be at my goal by my 1 year banding anniversary, but I'm afraid I probably won't make it. Especially since we are leaving tomorrow for a week at Disney World!
