  1. I'm anxious to make a pot of bean soup and purée it. It will be so comforting.
  2. My date was March 23. Good to hear you are doing good. My only problem is I am anxious for my drain to be removed on Friday. I am also looking for more variety in my full liquid diet. I'm off all my diabetes meds which thrills me.
  3. I am 7 days post op and on full liquids for two more weeks. I was wondering if cream of tomato soup is too acidic to eat this close to surgery? Any other full liquid ideas would be helpful. Thanks!
  4. I am 6 days out. I had no pain and very little gas. Second day all IVs and catherer were removed. So I guess I am one of the very lucky ones. I still have my drain tube which makes me feel like I'm still a patient. No diabetic meds or anything except my flintstones chewable and my Coumadin. My problem is I am so confused what and how much to eat. I was drinking Premier Protein drinks but realized I was trying to drink all of it. I have since learned that one bottle can be split into several servings. Creamed Soups and Jello fill in between the protein. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to spread my protein out better?
  5. Does anyone know of any iPhone or iPad apps to help with my food diary and weight tracker.
  6. Good luck to you as well
  7. Congrats. All your hard work is paying off.
  8. My surgery is scheduled for March 23. I have an upper denture. I was wondering how soon after surgery I can put it back in without gagging. Has anyone encountered this?
