  1. Current weight is 229.6[emoji17]. The scale moving the wrong way...goal weight is 219
  2. Finished at 227.4, never made it to goal????
  3. I'm in...goal weight 215, thanks!????
  4. Hi, I had RNY on 4/8/15, and have lost a total of 112 lbs. Day of surgery I weighed 342 and now down to 228. Although I still have about 50 lbs to get to my goal weight, I feel wonderful. I'm starting to feel like me again. I was depressed and felt disgusted with myself. I have NO REGRETS what so ever. I haven't had any complications at all. When you eat your new tummy will let you know when you've had enough. It still amazes me how full I get so fast. I actually feel like a normal person when I eat. If you follow your doctors orders and put in the work you will succeed. This is just a tool to help you, but you have to put in the work and it's hard sometimes because occasionally you still crave for things you shouldn't but you have to remember that part of your life is over. That's why it really makes me mad when someone says this is the easy way out, because it's definitely not easy. Best of luck to you, and I believe that you will be fine and a year from now you will be giving this same advice to someone else????????
  5. Sorry I'm late...229.4, thanks!!!
  6. Lol technology is a funny thing. I was just sitting here one day. Body hocus pocus, and while you're under you are being hypnotized to feel the effects of a smaller tummy....or seeing x-rays the way they want you to see them...LOL!!! Sounds good enough for a movie idea!!!
  7. What if this whole time we never got a sleeve or bypass done to our bodies? Meaning, we are put under, few incisions are made, but nothing has been done to our insides? Our minds are tricked into thinking that our stomachs are smaller but in fact they are still completely in tact? We can't obviously check our insides to confirm what was done to us. So where is the proof??? Just saying. Join me again, next time, on Sci-Fi theater weekend...LOL!!!
  8. I'm in goal weight 226, thanks!
  9. 236.8 final weigh in????
  10. Good luck on your surgery and soon you'll be on the losers bench!
  11. Sorry last week I was at 240, and this week I'm 237.6. Hope I can reach goal by 12/31????
  12. Speaking from someone who've just lost 100 lbs so far I feel different in a good way. I feel more confident, and attractive again. I now take pride in what I wear and I'm getting comfortable in the skin I'm in. I used to stay to myself, depressed and isolated. I was ignored by the opposite sex and now when I go out I find heads turn again and conversations being initiated. It's an awesome feeling.
  13. Today I got on the scale and it said 242. I've officially lost 100 lbs. I feel so good and it seemed like it took forever. I started this journey at 342 lbs, surgery date 4/8/15 and now 8 months later I'm at 242. I still have 62 lbs till I get to my doctors goal of 180 lbs, but I'm gonna listen to what you all said from my earlier post and stick to the plan...Oh yeah, and today I also got a NSV to share. I went to pump gas this morning on my way to work and this guy pulled up next to me and said, "Hey, Gorgeous!" Wow it has been years since a man has actually noticed me...I didn't know what to say so I just gave an awkward wave and he drove off...I felt so embarrassed but blushing at the same time. So I got a scale victory and a NSV!!! Woohoo!!!
  14. 242 today, and officially 100 lbs gone forever!!!! Yayyy!!!!
  15. "You say I've changed since I had weight loss surgery... I say weight loss surgery changed my life!"

Thanks so much for all your words of encouragement. I've stopped with the snacking and this morning when I woke up I lost a pound so now I'm down to 243. It just gets frustrating and scary when the scale goes nowhere and your so close to meeting your goal.

I don't understand what's going on? I have been stuck in the 240s for about a month now. For the past few days I've been sick so all I've been doing is fluids like chicken broth tea and Water. Yeah I've snacked here and there but not much because I've been sick. I'm 8 mos post op and I'm afraid that I've stopped losing weight. Just a minute ago I got on the scale and it said 250? How can I be gaining? Now I will say that I know that around this time I can expect my weight to fluctuate but I thought I'd never see 250 again. Trying to think positive due to the fact that it is that time of the month for me, but I've been stalling for a whole month anyway. What can I do to break the stall? Should I reset? I really feel like crying right now you just don't know. Please help!!!! I really need your support!!!
