  1. After years of looking after mom in her home, moving her to a retirement home etc. I had to put her in a Nursing Home last weekend. The sense of peace that she is safely looked after is helping me. Back to the gym and looking after ME. Even my boss sent me an email about my great work this week
  2. Having the band too tight will definitely give you medical problems. This doesn't make it he bands fault. I monitor carefully that I have no acid reflux and all is ok. I am not allowed to get a fill if I am not following the diet and monitoring everything.
  3. I am almost never hungry which is great. I went to the gym last night. My daughter was in the pool at the gym and called me to make sure I would go. I feel awesome after.
  4. My 2 girls help keep me on track when I let others pull me off. Get a gym buddy or girlfriend to talk to.
  5. I understand being scared. There are good meds which will help the hour waiting for surgery. (Ativan). When they started to put me to sleep I had a little panic and wanted to change my mind. I am stubborn and knew this was a life saving surgery I needed
  6. I cannot say anything negative about Slimband as I feel they saved my life and started me on this journey. most companies go bankrupt and reopen under a different name. Mostly because of a law suit.

  11. I had a hernia repair with my surgery. Everyone knows about the hernia. That is my story

  13. Coconut oil on my skin, in my shakes and in my bath helps dry skin
  14. Since it is going to be -20 concours here I might not get out at lunch but I will go to the gym
  15. Got my new Fitbit to make me accountable for 10,000 steps
  16. I see the nurse and she was wonderful with me
  17. Don't eat 3-4 hours before bed also
  18. I was 142 when I was married at 20. Funny how you think it is a terrible weight. You are doing fantastic
  19. Walk and sip water. Best advice
  20. Eating more protein helps me with the hunger
  21. I am praying to get rid of my sleep apnea but still look forward to the day I can brag that I found onederland
  22. I placed mom in a nursing home yesterday. This CRISIS lasted through the holidays. I am stress eating. I am not weighing in January but I WILL get back on track
