8/29/14 is the Day
I had decided I would be a model patient. Did everything the Doctor and nurses suggested. Hoping that I will have a smooth journey and be able to have many successes

How long?
We chose the slow way on purpose. No gastric bypass so all food and nutrients rush past. This is a life journey not a short one. Congrats to all and keep on living!

Surgery Date - 9/3/14
Congrats to all. Today was real food for me and return to work. I am exhausted but thinking positive

Out of sourts
Same date here. Aug 13. Starting real foods so starting to feel good. Sometimes gassy, I just walk around. Return to work tomorrow, kind of concerned

Lapband with plication
I read and followed my doctors instructions. I am not hungry or light headed. I didn't gain this weight in a week and realize the lapband is a tool. I am increasing my exercise slowly and learning to eat properly. Good luck on your journey

Hi all, 59 years and starting a new life!
Congratulations on your decision to start the journey to good health. I am on day 16 post op, 10 pounds down and feeling great. I walked every time the gas pain hit. I am 55. Taking back control of my life and hope I will have many successes to share. First goal is to get rid of my sleep apnea.

8/29/14 is the Day
I took 2.5 weeks to recover to ensure I was on track with good prep and my new life. Starting the walking routine and ensuring I am drinking my water. I want this to work. Changing your eating habits and. Lifestyle is exciting and fun. Enjoy the journey!

Day 15 for me. Iwould say ensure to rest and regain stamina slow. Lots if walking. Follow the doctors and nurses orders and everything should be great
