I decided to get weight loss surgery over a year ago, to be healthy, so I can enjoy my grandchildren. I had first consult with my surgeon, October 2013, had to do six months of assessments, then it took over two months to get approval from the insurance, was originally scheduled for surgery Aug 27th, 2014. Was lucky to get it moved up to July 29,2014. To date have lost 40 lbs. pre surgery. Having the gastric sleeve.
