  1. I am having some real problems eating and it has been 2 months since the last fill. I am wondering if I need to see my DR before the next scheduled appointment. Can anyone else feel the port and see it as well? I have been vomiting almost daily when I eat, and generally not wanting to eat at all. I find that I am prefering to drink my meals and not worry about vomiting. Not good I know. Does this sound like a port problem?
  2. thanks I have to wonder though why I did fine for almost 6 weeks and now I have issues. I don't think anything has changed.
  3. I am concerned I may have ruined everything over the holidays. I don't know? Weight is not coming off and I don't seem to stay full the 4 hours after a meal. I am not scheduled for a fill until March. Any one with some ideas?

    Nutritionally imbalanced? Be honest

I have not been losing weight and barely not gaining. I hope I have not streched my band over the holidays? I don't seem to have restriction. I can eat anything without pbing or getting unduly full. Any ideas anyone? I am not scheduled fora another fill until March.
  5. Is it possible that you may be overeating? I get that nasty feeling if I overdo. Be very sure you are measuring your food and chew chew chew. Try to not eat after 7 at night and maybe this will work for you. It might be good to visit with our dr when you are having the bubbly feeling so he can check you out.

youd think after almost 14 months

Its ok to melt once in awhile. It will not destroy everything you have done for yourself this far. Just start al over again tommorrow. WE all have the tendancy to self medicate when life sucks. Just don't let it happen very often and you will be fine
  10. i had to go back and unfill a bit I was at 5 after the first fill and I was sliming at every meal. ish! So Dr took out 1cc and I am hungry again and looking for food. I can go back mid December to have some put back in I am wondering if Drs will do partial cc's like 1/2 or not. I have a feel of being ill again. But I need to loose weight
  11. Dr.s seem to vary within a 6 week period, but most seem to have a liquid phase that moves to mushies and finially to solids. I hd no troubles with any of it, but I still am introducing foods back into my diet slowly. and it's beenalmost 2 months now.

    Updated September Bandsters!

I was banded on the 20th of September. I get my first fill 11/6. I am so hungry I am afraid I have been overeating. I sure hope I have not ruined my band. I don't have trouble eating at all . What can I expect after the first fill?

    WHAT happend to me?

I notice that some posters on here mention having coffee and pop. Is this something that can be done without getting ill or ruining the band? I have never had either but sometimes I sure would like a GOOD cup of coffee

    Lap band disappointing

I was banded on Sept 20, 07. I drank liquids the 1st two weeks and then mushies for 2 weeks and now I am eating fairly normal although quite a bit less. I dropped 15 lbs. right away presurgery and the first 2 weeks after surgery. Nothing food wise seems to bother me to eat but I have not tried steak or rice or raw bread. I am now at a 22 lb loss and get my first fill on Tuesday the 6th of November. I guess I am to have liquids for 2 days after this but what else should I expect after the fill. Any experiences out there that I should watch for or expect?

    How many fills?

So what is normal to feel after your 1st fill? What is the "normal" sensation?

    First fill today......

I am starving most of the time now. My surgery was Sept 20 and I wont have a fill until the 6th of Nov. I have not gained yet but at his rate its only time.
