  4. I just got a fill and have 2 cc ' s. I have realized I can eat more than 2 weeks after surgery. (Surgery was 10/30) Next appt is 4 weeks out, should I call for a fill in between?
  5. I am at 2 cc ' s and all have swelling at port site. I was wondering if others swelling made a big difference to their band cc ' s needed?
  6. My first fill was about 6 weeks after surgery. I think they want more healing and less swelling first. Are you feeling well?
  7. First fill today! It's like a light bee sting and it was really quick.
  8. Doing much better. First post op appt was awesome. Seeing the scale stop was so significant and just makes me want to keep going! Best wishes and congrats on your decision.
  9. Ldimples I did the same thing when my family had pizza. Thoughts and bedroom and all. Remind yourself why you're doing it. Are you able to egg veggies? It may sound odd but I played a mind game with myself. I could eat cucumbers, so I cut them down and added a little salt, those were my chips. Hope it helps
  10. Do you know where to find sample menus?
  11. I was banded 2 days after you and would be great with keeping in touch with someone on the same road. I haven't really felt hungry. I still have port side swelling that makes certain sitting positions uncomfortable. I have used ice cube trays to freeze portions. I am scared of a fill and haven't even had a post op appt. Are you getting your liquids in?
  12. Bandista thank you so much for sharing. I am 9 Days post op and so needed to read a positive bander story. You look great. I hope my year can get me close to where you are. Thank you for sharing.
  13. The belching is awful. I really don't have much energy. My husband thought it may be a pinched nerve from them moving me. I tried a little icy hot and had some relief. Temporarily but at least some. Thanks for all the advice Daisy. I keep hearing every day is a bit better.
  14. Day after hasn't been so good to me. Lots of back pain, can't discern nausea and hunger
  15. Give yourself time to recover. I go I less than 24 hours!
  16. This might sound weird too, I shake the pop and make it flat before I use it. Also keeps anyone else from drinking my 2L! :-)
  17. My favorite with the diet pop is the vanilla shake and diet orange
  18. Day 12 - I use diet soda to flavor my shakes. Can you have any veggies? I am allowed cucumbers and celery.
