Thanks they are actually worse because as your stomach shrinks they scrunch up if that makes any since my stomach looks like boiled chicken lol but since surgery I've lost 65 pounds

Loving the new me I haven't been up here in a while but I just wanted to show how the Gastric Sleeve worked for me and loving every bit of it

Is there a app that helps you count your daily protein intake or does any body have a easier way to count protein intake not sure if im getting the amount that I should be getting

I'm not hungry or obsessed with food, it's just when my husband is first cooking it, it smell good then I just get a weird nasty smell right after I guess that's my brain saying stay away lol. That's cool we have the same surgeon, when was your surgery and what town do to live in? Maybe we can be surgery buddies up here.

Hi im 6 days post op and I just looked at my liquid diet plan and it said that I can have low fat cream soup, any suggestions on what kind of of cream soup? because Im starting to get tired of these shakes I want something different.

I also have one week to go and I cant wait food is all I think about, I sit and watch my husband make himself and our son dinner and im just looking like wow that looks good, but I've managed to turn my nose up to food atleast for now any way lol

Thanks y'all, I have been drinking alot of water, Gatorade and sugar free popsicles, I just want something different but I am doing alot better im able to move around, and walk around alot which I thought I wasnt going to be able to do.

I was also sleeved on 8/20 and as soon as they took me to my room I started to dry heave and it felt horrible, I was nauseous up until yesterday so im going to say it was the pain meds because the anesthesia has been out of my system for some days now

So I had my surgery yesterday surprisingly I wasn't nervous or scared and It was over before I knew it, it only took my Dr. an hour to do my sleeve which I thought would take longer. Today they started me on step one diet tomorrow advancing me to step 2 but other than the severe gas im doing ok. Hope everyone else surgery went well and have a quick and safe recovery

Yay tomorrow is my surgery its finally here, whats crazy is I woke up yesterday with a sore throat scared that my temp was going to spike but it didnt went to my pre op physical yesterday and I was so worried about my temp that I never factored in my blood pressure which was high, but after about 30 min it went down to normal and luckily for me everything checked out and I was cleared by my Dr. so now im just anxiously waiting for the hospital to call me with the time that I have to be at the hospital in the AM wish me luck guys ill be checking back afterwards to let yall know how it went.

Hi all I am 8 days away from getting my surgery Im on my 7th day of pre op diet and im running out of flavoring ideas. I've used Torani flavoring caramel, chocolate, and hazelnut, I've also used PB2 I do love all of these flavors but sometimes you get tired of them is there any other recipes that anyone can help me with?

I just started my 2 week pre op diet officially today what I want to know is should I start all of my vitamins now or after surgery? I currently take a multi vitamin but thats it

My nutritionist said that I can either do a shake at breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner I chose the second option, so I have my shake in the morning then eat something like a chicken salad or tuna salad with greek yogurt then after work I go home and have my second shake for dinner. Im only on day one so wish me luck.

Hi all, my surgery has been moved from August 6 to August 20th which I'm not to happy about but I have to start my preop diet today for 2 whole weeks wish me luck.

I haven't had my surgery yet it got push back to August 20th which im not happy about, but I want to know how long did anyone wait before adding fruit to their protein shakes? My nutritionist told me to wait about 2 to 3 weeks after surgery not sure why that is, but I love my shakes with fruit.

I know about the seeds my nutritionist told me that too I was just asking everyones opinion

Thanks for you guys advice, I usually use strawberries or blueberries in my shakes sometimes bananas, but im going to take my nutritionist advice and do everything by the book

Surgery August 6, preop testing is next week Thursday getting a lil anxious

Im getting my sleeve on August 6 and all I hear all day from family and the Dr. I work for is how i don't need it, you are losing weight on your own just keep doing what your doing and you'll be fine what people don't realize is that im doing this for me so that I can feel more confident in my self and to be healthier. Because I'm tall people look at me and say oh you don't need that but when I tell them how much I weigh they don't believe me. So just keep your head up and ignore what everyone else have to say.

Any body have any ideas on where I can get post op vitamins for a cheaper price then getting them from Bariatric Advantage?
