  1. Surgery on Wednesday. I think I'm just now starting to feel nervous. Up until this point I've been super excited. This is permanent, no going back. While looking forward to an improved me, I'm feeling a little scared right now.
  2. Agree! This is the service that I use!
  3. I use an online clothing rental service. They specialize in plus sizes and I can update sizes as needed.
  4. I'm getting sleeved on the 3rd. Very excited. Sitting in the waiting room for pre-op now. I do liquids on Monday and Tuesday.

  6. I am scheduled to be sleeved on 9/3. I guess I'm fortunate that I only have to do liquids for two days. Good luck to each of you have to do extended liquid diets. I'm sure it's not easy. I keeping making lists of things "to do" and "to get" in order to prepare. Can't believe its a week away!
  7. It took about 8-10 work days to get a response. I called frequently for updates and they were very nice about my harassment.
  8. Hi, I have the same insurance company. No supervised diet required. I'm scheduled for the 3rd.
  9. Yes, my doctor told me the same. I've taken the pill for forever and she said it would be important to use a second form of protection. Apparently the hormonal changes make you more fertile.
  10. So, I am finding that my surgery is all I think about!! Ha! It's hard to focus on anything else for long periods of time. I'm both excited and nervous. I keep wanting to ensure I do as much as I can to prepare. Just a little over a week to go!
  11. Hi! I'm Tiffany and my sleeve is scheduled for September 3 here in Atlanta. I guess I'm fortunate that my surgeon only requires clear liquids for the two days prior to the surgery. I can only imagine what several weeks of liquids would be like. At any rate, looking for a buddy to share this journey with.
  12. My surgery date changed from August 29 to September 3 so I am now a September Sleever! Can't believe it's less than two weeks away!!
  13. I'm getting sleeved on the 29th!
  14. It feels surreal to me right now. Excited to take this step, but nervous as well. Do you have to do an extended pre-surgery diet?
  15. VSG. What about you? Your date is approaching soon, how are you feeling?
  16. Hopefully you will find out that it will be soon!
  17. Yeah, I guess the 39th is a pretty long wait, lol
  18. I guess the 39th is pretty far!
  19. Hi! New to the site. Just found out today that I've been approved for surgery and my date is set for August 29th. I am thrilled!
  20. I was approved today!! Surgery on 8/29!! So thrilled!
  21. Congratulations! That's awesome!
