No veggies.....?
What do you mean "what about baby food"? To me, regular grown-up, adult, real food is much better nutritionally and flavor-wise than baby food.

Breakfast
Oh right thank you I'm just really confused about all this the doctors seems not to be helpful but I'll try and ask again. Sent from my SM-N910F using the BariatricPal App Were you provided with a written lost-op food plan?

Even if you are vegetarian your body still needs protein.

Wow! My protein target is 100 grams and the lowest my surgeon recommends is 80 grams.

How much did you lose the first week
I am so sorry to hear that you had to go through this again. Any idea why you were not able to lose weight with the first sleeve? What are you doing differently now?

How much did you lose the first week
You have just had major surgery, we're pumped full of IV fluids in the hospital, and are swollen. I highly recommend that you stay off the scale for a while. Just focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids.

A little lost... help?
In addition to BariatricPal, you might want to look into Overeaters anonymous. You can find meeting lists, podcasts, and other resources online at OA.org.

No veggies.....?
Are you able to reach your protein target this early out by doing this? As long as you are able to get in all of your protein this would be ok. The problem would be if you are filling up on vegetables and don't have enough room to get in enough protein.

I can't live like this!
I haven't read through all the responses, but have you tried different temperatures? Have you tried adding Water enhancers or infusions to your plain water? Plain water was the hardest thing for me to drink for quite a while. Adding crystal light, Mio drops, or other infusions really helped. Have you tried ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates? I started using them (undiluted over crushed ice) in the hospital.

When Did People Notice and Driver's License
My mom noticed I was "jigglier" as I was walking into my first post-op follow-up appointment and the office staff noticed. I got a new drivers license photo after I lost 200 pounds but probably should have gotten one much sooner. (I don't know the legal requirements, but think your driver's license photo is supposed to look at least like an approximation of what you actually look like now.) I fully anticipate needing to get a new license at least a couple of more times along this journey.

So what. I presume that he is an ex for a reason. Sounds like you need to find a better class of friends.

Two week post op food
I was allowed clear protein (Isopure, ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates) and premier Protein Shakes the first week. I was allowed other, thicker, protein shakes on week 2 for full liquids. I was allowed sugar-free jello in the hospital.

Still stalled - and hungry. Where's the magic weight loss i was promised?
What do you mean that you have to exercise continuously every day to lose weight? You are only a few weeks post-op. You are still healing from major surgery. What kind of exercise are you doing "continuously every day?" Are you following your post-op program? Tracking your food? Getting at least 64 oz of Fluid a day? Reaching your Protein target every day? What is your protein target? Avoiding starches, added sugars (especially high fructose corn syrup), and fried foods? Taking your Vitamins and supplements as directed? Practicing mindful eating? Exercising sensibly? I have seen a couple of posts where you claim that WLS does not work but you don't provide any details about what you are and are not doing. It is hard to help and offer any helpful suggestions without more information. What does your surgeon and/or NUT say about your progress so far? Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall- I'm so frustrated!
You mention calories (without specifics) but not protein. The most important numbers are fluids and protein. What is your protein target? Are you consuming at least that amount of protein every day? Are you getting AT LEAST 64 oz of Fluid every day? Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. We all experience stalls. If you intend to lose a significant amount of weight then you need to be prepared to experience stalls. Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall Thank you surfer girl, I am getting in between 60-80 grams of protein and at least 64-70 oz of water/fluids I exercise at least 3 times a week... What is your protein target? 60 or 80 grams? I would suggest trying to get at least 80 grams every day. - Book on gastric sleeve
