  1. Hi I had my surgery on April 21,2014. I just had my labs done. I take 2 flintstone vitamins,1 in the morning and 1 at night. Bariatric advantage chewable calcium carmel flavor. Yummy! It is my sweet treat everyday! Highest dosage b-12 sublingual., and extra vitamin d liquid form. Everything tested just fine. Although my weekly protein needs to be higher. So working on that.....I am not tolerating meat very well. So premiere protien shakes, tofu, edamame, and fage greek yogurt. Sometimes it is hard to eat tummy pouch drama! Heather

  6. Hi! I am 11 weeks out fron rny! Before and after I have only shared the info of my surgery with close friends and family. I made this decision I wouldn't want to be bombarded with the naysayers who think I have taken the "easy" way out! This definitely was not that! Good luck!
  7. Uhg! Food! I feel like it's so mental....sometimes I can handle being around everyone eating and other times not!!! I take it meal by meal. I try to battle the feelings by reminding myself I put myself in this postion so I can be healthy! Usually I can get through it!
  8. My lovely new pouch does NOT like alot of things! My surgeon says this is normal. We may not be able to handle the same things as before surgery. Boo! But mostly good! Also if you are regularly having food and liquids coming back up you may have a stricture. I have that. I will be going in for my 4th endoscopy and dilatation. Talk to your doc!
