  1. Ok so I had an upper GI and I don't have a stricture. I was supposed to start eating soild food 2 weeks ago. I was able to get like 3 tsp of fish and mashed potatoes down without vomiting. But I'm so afraid to eat cause then when I drink an hour after my food- I vomit it up. I can't get chicken down. Has anyone else had a difficult time getting food down. I'm so frustrated. Any suggestions.
  2. Hello. I'm 6 weeks post op. Tuesday will be 7 weeks. I was supposed to start solids on Tuesday but its been tough. Many things do not go down. For example, I was able to eat a cracker with cream cheese. However, I tried eating chicken and it came back up. It seems as if I cannot get anything down. The protein shakes get me sick. I'm eating some yogurt right now. Is this normal?
  3. I just had my surgery on June 3rd. I'm happy I finally was brave enough to go through with it. Today I'm a bit frustrated. My family and I went to the movies. The smell of the popcorn and seeing people eat it just pissed me off. I know I can never have popcorn again. Also I know I signed up for this. All I can have is liquids right now. I'm in phase 1. I already lost 31 pounds. I'm just in a real foul mood today. Is this normal?
