  1. I never thought I'd ask this question and please don't fuss at me... How do I stop losing weight. I'm 100 pounds down, from an 18 to a 4, 5'3" tall, 130 pounds, 6 1/2 months from sleeve surgery. I really feel like I've lost enough so how do I stop losing?
  2. I already had thin hair prior to surgery so this really sucks. I do have the Topik. I need to go get a lighter color now that I have less hair for it to blend with. Has anyone tried the clip in hair extensions?
  3. What are some tips/tricks people are doing to help the look of thinning hair?
  4. I am 5 months out from my sleeve and hernia repair. I had my non-functioning gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. My GI came back normal. However, I still have this feeling of indigestion. It doesn't matter what I eat or what I don't eat. I'm still unable to eat most foods without feeling nauseous or only eating a bite or two. My sleeve either likes things like Jello, broth or crackers. Any ideas?
  5. Going back to the surgeon tomorrow. Even after having my gallbladder removed I am still suffering from indigestion and my throat makes this funny noise sometimes. Anyone know what this is?
  6. Anyone have their gallbladder out recently. How did you feel afterwards as for the gallbladder symptoms? How was recovery?
  7. With the constant nausea, feeling of indigestion and throwing up...I can't wait to have this surgery.
  8. It's gallstones. Having it out Friday
  9. Mine is coming out Friday.
  10. Went for an ultrasound yesterday on my gallbladder. The dr. Office called today and said the doc wants to see me tomorrow. Guess that means I will be having my gallbladder removed. Seeing the doc tomorrow at 1pm.
  11. Im choosing the right foods. Sometimes I wonder if I'm chewing good enough. It doesn't matter if I eat or not I still suffer with indigestion. I have history of an ulcer. I take back about the amount. If it's soft like yogurt I can eat most of it. It's weird how my stomach tolerates edamame or a rice cake but not a lot of other foods.
  12. I'm about 15 weeks out. I'm still mostly on soft foods. Most everything else comes back up or I make it come back up because it makes me feel nauseous. I'm having a upper GI and ultrasound on gallbladder Monday. What should my progress be? If I do eat I can only eat a bite or two.
  13. No. I just increased my Omeprazole to twice a day.
  14. 13 weeks out. I'm so over the indigestion! It doesn't matter what I eat/ what I don't eat. I've tried everything to make it go away. Doc doing X-ray of gallbladder and something else, I can't remember what it is, on Tuesday. Got any advice on how to help?
  15. Having a hard time getting my vitamins in. They are so gross! I had a hard time with vitamins pre-op too. What's everyone else taking?
  16. Oh I do it. I know I had this surgery to get healthier. I just don't like it. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and find I am hungry when I first wake in the mornings.
  17. I can eat and drink. I just don't have the urge to. It's so stressful worrying about the protein and liquids all the time.
  18. I'm 5 weeks out today. I don't want to eat or drink. I'm not getting my protein in so I'm tired and I have a very active job.
  19. Sleeved June 9th. I find I am hungry more often as well which if you think about is good. I always hear to eat 6 small meals a day.
  20. Sleeved June 9th. I don't know if I am having reflux or what but I feel gurgling and/or a bubbling in my stomach. Going on week 5 and my stomach pretty much hates anything that's not cottage cheese, soup, yogurt or sugar free Popsicles. Everything else makes me nauseous or have a stomach ache. I had a fussy stomach to begin with, last year had a healing ulcer and diagnosed with IBS. Any advice?
  21. I am almost 4 weeks out from the sleeve and a hernia repair. My stomach just doesn't feel normal. I mean I know my stomach isn't normal... When I drink it still hurts. My stomach kind of feels like it did when I had an ulcer a year ago. Is this normal? Anyone else feeling this way?
  22. Your favorite protein powder. I recommend figuring out which that is now. I've spent too much time, money and stress worrying about getting my protein. I love PB2 and mixing in extracts. Sugar free Popsicles were my saving grace! The name brand is so much better than the non-brand in this case. Sugar free jello, chicken or vegetable broth and your favorite Crystal Light. I'm only 3 weeks out so I'm still doing all of this.
  23. I took off 2 weeks. I should have taken off 3 weeks. I have a retail job so always on my feet and busy busy
