  1. Welcome to the groups! I was sleeved on June 9th. Congrats on your 2 miles. You'll have up days and down days. Let yourself rest when you need it. Everyday I have felt better and better. We have nothing but excitement in our future! Good luck and update us.
  2. I just had my post op appt yesterday. He said all is well. I'm just not used to this low level of energy. Thank you if I notice it not getting better I'll definitely call my doc.
  3. I feel run down pretty easily. I can't do as much as I could before. Please tell me this gets better. I start my supplements Friday so maybe that will help.
  4. Had my one week post op appt today. Everything was great!! I had to talk to doc about my protein shakes making me sick. He said I could just use the new whey instead. Feeling good. How about y'all's appts?
  5. I too have wondered what the rate of loss would be. I am one week post op and am down 10lbs. I had loss 20lbs before surgery so I'm now at 30lbs. Some things are feeling loose. I'm encouraged. Surprisingly I don't feel hungry so I guess that helps.
  6. I haven't tried chocolate yet. Although I was not much of a chocolate fan before.
  7. I'm six days out now and I'm feeling great! The worst part was the air/gas. Start protein shakes and a few other things tomorrow. First two days I thought what have I done but now I know it's worth it!
  8. I had to stay two nights. Nausea was my biggest problem. Every sip I had, until just a day ago, I would burp. Trust me though once that air starts moving out you feel so much better! I started spotting this morning which is unusual because I had my cycle a week before my surgery. I talked to my doc and he said that it's actually common given the stress our bodies go through. I just need to make sure I stay hydrated!! Anyone else deal with this?
  9. I was sleeved Monday June 9th. I am 33 with two kids and hubby too. I'd be glad to go through this with y'all.
  10. Anyone near Beaumont tx?
  11. Just had my surgery on Monday June 9th. I'll be glad to keep in touch and be there for each other along this process.
