  1. Zumba Monday, Zumba and circuit training Tuesday, Zumba Wed, Zumba and circuit training Thursday, circuit training Friday, 1 hour on elliptical Saturday...my typical week right now. Crazy, right?
  2. My surgeon tells me it can take 5 days for swelling from a fill to go down...I normally stay on liquids for that time.
  3. So I got a new bike and have been riding on the weekends! Got another Zumba class done last night...when you are so focused on the dance moves and getting it right, you forget you are sweating and working out! Woo Hoo!
  4. It's strange because I don't actually feel smaller...yet my clothes get bigger...at first I thought they must be stretched out...lol!
  5. Two more Zumba classes and a turbokick class completed this week.
  6. Cinnamon tea sounds awesome...especially now that it is getting chilly! Thanks for the advice!
  7. I've been working out...my legs have thinned...my upper torso and arms have thinned...my lower stomach and hips, well...guess they don't feel like going anywhere right now. Lol. Makes clothes shopping kinda frustrating. I'm assuming it will all balance out. It's weird, because as I gained, it was pretty even. I'm getting my winter clothes out today...I have a feeling all my tops will be way too big! Yay! Haha
  8. For instance my upper body has lost at a faster rate than my lower...making my clothing sizes not match at all...so I am almost 2 sizes smaller in tops...what the heck? Has this happened to you all too? Feeling kinda lopsided...lol! Happy to be losing, just the same, though! :-)
  9. Thanks for the motivation! I ended up taking a 30 min hike with my doggies :-). Plus did an hour if Zumba last night. Woohoo!
  10. I need motivation today to get in a 30 min workout...ugh
  11. They have machines they keep at the sleep center to determine your level...you then get a new machine a few days after the prescription for it is made...it will come to you with the levels set, and with the mask sized to what the doc says was best for you during the second study.
  12. The second sleep study is for mask fitting and level setting. I had the same thing :-). Best sleep ever with the cpap!
  13. 9/23/2014: 210 ten pounds away from onederland?! Say whaaat?! SO excited :-)
  14. 9/19/2014: 212....happy dance :-)
  15. Happens to me daily. Cold things really get to me. I guess it is common? I dunno. I see the surgeon on the 15th...I'll inquire about it. It scares me a bit when they start.
  16. 5 cc...I think its rare to have that much to start, though.

  18. Wow, your post is inspiring! I feel the same way...I was just surviving day to day. I've learned to start scheduling me time. I allow myself to enjoy things I used to years ago. Favorite music, bubble bath with candles, coffee while sitting outside in the morning, getting hair and nails done, yard sales and thrift store shopping... I love finding treasures :-) Baking Cookies with my little girl, dancing/singing like no one is watching, laying down looking at the night sky with the hubby while we laugh and talk, Just living life instead of watching it :-) One key thing I have found to help is getting up early, and keeping the TV off.
  19. Okay ladies...my band gets so tight during "that time of month"....I know some of you have had this issue...any pointers on getting through it? I feel like there must be something I could do to reduce the bloat...thus reducing tightness. I'm drinking Water...that's all I know to do.
  20. Zumba class completed...I want to do it again...and that is rare!
  21. Wow,, just wow...I can't believe he said that after your surgery. I bet something better is in the cards for you. Look at it as an opportunity for a great change. You will be changing inside and out as it is...here's to the new you!!!
  22. Starts at $35 a month...what does it go up to? This is a great idea, btw. How many outfits for 35 bucks?
  23. Yeah, I couldn't handle the vitamin's either. Talk to your surgeon about getting on a different brand. The Iron in a certain bariatric brand was just too much for me. I cook in iron pans, so...I think I get a lot from that alone. Gas in the beginning is bad in general, though. And noisy.
