  1. Urgrrrr I hit the 3 week stall the past few days. I've also been getting hungrier lately and cravings are slowly coming back. I made my son a grilled cheese Sammie last night and I wanted it bad, I didn't. I am traveling next week for 10 days. I'm a bit nervous about the plane days and family questioning my eating. I have been walking and intermittent jogging on my walks. Feels great!
  2. Looking forward to meeting. I have about 4 people coming. Please join us. Wednesday July 2nd at 6:30pm Corner Bakery in Lake forest Patio tables right outside entrance 23702-C El Toro Road Lake Forest, CA 92630 http://www.cornerbak...est/lake-forest

  4. We could sit inside too, I know there is booths and chairs but not sure about arms. I can check for you, don't want you to have to do that.

  7. Have you started soft foods. I was thinking the same when I was on liquids only but when I hit soft foods I was amazed how little I could eat. If you are eating a lot of soup you might have some water weight from sodium. I was June 10 and have lost 10, sx weight was 218. It depends on where you started too.
  8. Proof of not being discouraged by stalls. Congrats. I have a tad over 7 until onederland. Don't be surprised if trying to go under 200 is hard. When I lost about 40 pounds a few years ago and went down to 185, getting under 200 took quite awhile.
  9. Yes I have have a 30-20-30 rule. Stop drinking 30 min before, eat for 20, drink again in 30. My watch helps. When I'm not in the eating mode I am constantly sipping from my bottle. I think it helps to get a bottle you love. I probably drink about 60oz plus. I hit a stall. I've been trying to wait a day or 2 to weigh in. It's hard. I am happy to be eating real food.
  10. Just back from my mini vacy. Well I have kids so let's be real, it was a trip not a vacation. I have been on soft foods for a few days. I can eat deli meats, canned tuna and chicken, cheese, beans and cottage cheese, etc. I planned ahead and packed all my food but it was still weird. We went out to dinner both nights with our group. The first night the restaurant did all day breakfast so I had scrambled eggs. The bowl was a normal soup bowl and I barley made a dent in it. The next night was a steakhouse and there wasn't much I could eat so I ended up with a little bit of broth from a steak soup (super chunky) and shredded cheddar cheese. I saw the cheese on hubby's salad so I asked for a side. The weird part is the routine of eating out. It's hard to put into words. You see your friends eating all this food and you only can take a few bites.
  11. If your work doesn't require any lifting you can go back pretty soon. Tue sx and back a work on following Monday. I was moving and doing normal stuff by Saturday. But....every person is different.
  12. I just got back from a mini vacation in Laughlin. I've been eating soft foods for a few days now. I've had 2 c-sections and a few other surgeries. I can talk to you more in person about what it's like. I will find a place very soon.
  13. Jennifer0609 are stats are very similar. Unfortunate I haven't been intentionally exercising. I am very active, in fact I'm in the middle of sweeping and mopping my floor but no intentional exercise. I am going on a trip tomorrow to the "river", it's the Colorado river in Laughlin. If your not familiar it can get in the 100s there. I am preparing to pack my food but I am worried about dehydration. Plan is to drink 4 of my travel cups (24 oz each fill). I'm also worried about riding on the see-doo and hurting "tool". I'll take it easy. I'm not worried about my bathing suit. It still fits thankfully since I was busting the seems on it pre sx ????
  14. Jeallbaroma - 201 is probably a big set point for you. A few ago when I lost a ton of weight 200 was super hard to pass. Try changing up the exercise if you can. Start 230 At sx 218 Now 208 Started food and loving it. My NuT doesn't do puréed. I can have lunch meat, cheese, cottage cheese, yourgurt, beans. I love having food again but it's hard to tell when I'm not longer hungry versus over fulling "tool". Yes, I named my tummy "tool".
  15. My surgery was on tue the 10th. I didn't attempted protein until sat 15. 1 shake only. My nurse said said at 1 week post of most people are barely at 3 half shakes daily. Don't blend, only shake, less thick. I still did broth for days after I attempted protein. Go slow and sip. You have to wait a full month for next phase? Wow.
  16. I can't say you will be issue free but all in all the issues aren't too bad. It is a major surgery. Rest and Fluid and movement are your basics. I vomited for the first 24 hrs and survived just fine. What ones bother you? I had 75 g yesterday and working up today. I have been introducing foods. Just had cheese and deli turkey. No problems. Biggest post sx key is sipping. Constant sipping.
  17. I look forward to seeing you. How is it going? I have been super tired lately. I'm making sure I get my vitamins in.
  18. I was at the patio chairs at side of Starbucks by grass. I would occasionally get up and look around for people and check the patio right outside Starbucks door. I arrived at 6:10 and waited until 7:30 before leaving. I was by myself the entire time. I never cancelled and am truly confused as to where the idea came from. The location issue is another reason why iam sure arch of a better meeting spot. The spectrum is nice but parking is difficult.
  19. I didn't cancel. I sat at Starbucks until 7:30 waiting. I'm not sure where you got a cancellation notice. I apologies for the confusion.
  20. Let's get is group going!! Meeting Wednesday July 2 at 6:30 Location TBD Looking for a place near freeway in lake forest or irvine

  22. Every dr is different. I have to go to a class to move to next phase. Post op is 2 weeks Protein Shakes only, depending on your surgery date, then soft foods, not puréed My post op class was 7 days after surgery and phase 1, soft foods is 15 days after my surgery.
  23. Stalls are normal. You body has set points that are more difficult to overcome. I just hit a weight that I know I was at for a good year. Well it took me 4 days to fully pass that weight, sleeved on June 10. If you have you weight history in mind you may remember places where you body stayed the same weight for awhile. You may find this to be your set points..
  24. Day 4 is hard one. Wait a day or 2. Just remember this phase is temporary.
