  4. What I did was write a timeline weight history listing the year...what I tried (I.e. ww, 1200 Cal, slimfast etc) what I lost...if any...what I gained and my approximate weight.

  14. I'm about 90% decided on RNY. Promised my Dr not to decide until after my nutritionist appt on the 11 th. However unless she leads me into some deep epiphany....I'm choosing bypass.
  15. Nothing wrong with being upset about it. We do for our families...100% and heaven forbid we do/ have something just for us! I'm preop but I foresee my clueless overweight (adult) daughter eating up my designated foods....thinking a lockbox for the refrigerator...
  16. Thank you all for your responses. I still feel strongly towards bypass but I will put off final decision til after my nutritionist as I promised my doctor. Carol....you are my inspiration! What kind of exercise did you do?
  17. You look stunning! I can't wait to start my journey!!
  18. GASTRIC Bypass is what I had decided prior to my surgeon consult. He just advised me to consider both. Ultimately its my decision. I look at dumping as an added plus to bypass. I'm tired of being in this body as I'm sure all if you can understand. I feel bypass is my best choice.
