  1. You are beautiful! You can be one of the skinny bridesmaids now! How have you succeeded so well?
  2. I have no answers for you, only prayers. How long ago did your complications start? I haven't seen someone on this site yet who truly regretted it everyday.
  3. Losing 109lbs in a year is nothing to fret about! Celebrate your victory and enjoy your new life!
  4. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending many prayers your way. I, too, am very fearful but being active on this forum has helped balance my fears with reality. Concentrate on the joy you will feel when you are able to fully enjoy life with your daughter.
  5. I am pre-op and soaking in all the great info I find on this site. For those of you experienced loose bowels, how did you deal with this all the time in the real world i.e. work?
  6. Simply amazing! You look fantastic! Tell us newbies about your process. Workouts? Diet?
  7. I have BCBS Texas and I had no problems. The surgeon's office called it a fast track and basically as soon as I finish my psych clearance it will take about 3 weeks.
  8. That is a truly remarkable change! Congratulations on your new look and new outlook on life!
  9. I've seen so many wonderful before and after pics on this forum and none of them (even the shirtless ones) show any scars? Anyone care to weigh in on what scarring looks like after the sleeve?
  10. That is awesome! I'm sure you look as great as you feel in it!
  11. So happy for you! Congrats on the newfound look and feeling.
  12. Hi all! I'm in the middle of the approval process, but one thing that keeps haunting me is the long term effects of this. I have asked my doctor but I feel like I get a standard answer of "anything that happens won't be worse than obesity." Is anyone familiar with what life with a sleeve may be like 10, 20, 30 years from now? If we were to develop ailments later in life, would our body be able to absorb the needed nutrients to heal?
