Hello all!!!! I'm a Newbie!!!! I just had my 1st surgeon appt on Mon. Now I have to wait for all my appt information to come in the mail. Looking forward to a sept surgery.

I am new to the app and the forum. I have been researching GB surgery so I made an appt with my doc and have a surgeon in mind. Keep the faith that yours will be approved! I as 38 (39 on June 7th, my BMI is 52%. I have been searching for a place to chat with people with similar issues as mine. I don't want to turn 40 and feel like this, that is for sure. That's all for now, take care. I just had my 1st appt on June 2nd. I waiting on my schedule for appts........ My BMI is 42.

I am having heavy bleeding during my menstrual cycle. My Obgyn said its because of the weight gain, after I lose the weight it will go back to normal. I'm looking forward to it going back to normal.

I just had my 1st appt June 2nd and after all my testing is done my surgery date will be in sept.

My husband is supportive but very concerned about the surgery.

That's great..... I have to maintain my weight till Sept because of insurance too.
