  1. That's great to hear. Hope you are feeling better.
  2. That's awesome. Love the bracelet idea. Will be making a fitness bucket list for sure.
  3. They are on the list my surgeons office gave me as an approval one.
  4. I originally had thought of the lapband. I never thought about the others, but I looked into it more with a lot of research. I was starting to go between lapband and sleeve. When I went for the seminar my surgeon gives before you can even go see him, he explained all the surgeries. He said the band is being preformed less now. Not that it's not being done, just the sleeve is more popular and less problems. Every surgery has it's risk. I have now decided with my surgeon agreeing on the sleeve. My insurance covers it, so that's what I am doing as long as the insurance approves it.
  5. How is things going? I've been wondering about you.
  6. That's good news. Yes it does get very busy with the appointments. It's starting to slow down a little bit for me now. At least I don't have multiple appts in a week of even a day. Right now it's just one a week next few weeks. Keep us posted.
  7. I have had cellulitis several times. You shouldn't have any issues. The doctor may put you on IV antibiotics right away for precaution. Make sure you drink plenty of liquids and elevate it when you can. Also if you are shaving the area, avoid around that spot as it can irritate or spread it further. Just info from personal experience.
  8. My PCP before my current one had told me she would never give any of her patients any recommendations for the surgery. She wasn't very supportive in any of my health problems and never really got on top of my health issues. Since starting this new PCP in November, I have gone from a 9.5 A1c to a 6.4 A1c. I had seen my previous PCP for years and got no where.
