  1. I am bummed, miscalculated my weeks, thought I only had one more week of pureed, but I have two.
  2. @@Beni, are you getting in all your protein and liquids? Are you going to the bathroom? U know what I mean. Try and eat a little more, make sure your body hasn't gone into starvation mode. Put the scale away for a few days. All that being said, I had gotten down to 155 last Friday, then Saturday back up to 157, took til this morning to see 155 again and only weighed myself 20 time between Friday and this morning. But I don't have a problem with the scale, haha. Think I need to hide it somehow.
  3. Dehydration is my biggest fear, it can happen so easy. And I cannot afford to get dehydrated and end up back in the hospital.
  4. I haven't read the comments after this, but you ARE dehydrated and I know you are going to the doctor tomorrow, but next time NO waiting for an appointment if you are experiencing those symptoms, Please!
  5. My boyfriend called me skinny butt!
  6. maybe more sodium but this is happening at all hours. Could just be a menopause flair up, but I get light headed or woozy feeling with it. Better today as was the liquids, could be liquid but strange symptoms for dehydration I would think.
  7. I read somewhere that you should shoot for 8 ounces an hour, that would be 8 hours of drinking a day to get 64 ounces in which is what they recommend for me. Seemed feasible, and got 8 ounce bottles of Water to add crystal light but never works out. LOL. some days I make it some days I don't.
  8. This is not a great picture, but taken today in my baggy 16's.
  9. some plans or policies cover excess skin removal if you are having complications from the skin, normallly a rash. Have you checked about if you have complications from the excess skin?
  10. flaky fish was included in my pureed stage and I have not pureed it, just flaked it up kinda. Though I did need to add the sauce. Good salmon. mmmm
  11. @, I had some salmon and had a problem till I added some liquid, I had the sauce it could in. This was gortons simply bake salmon in a foil pack.
  12. Hey I just saw on my ticker I have 36 pounds to get to my goal weight of 119. I know that I am not a normal case here because I started at 225 and had a total of 105 to lose to do that and lost 50 of that before surgery. So 3 weeks out post surgery and 36 pounds to go. I can not believe that. CRAZY!!!
  13. so the last 24 hours or so, anytime I am standing for extended periods or doing any physical activity, I get hot, sweaty and kinda nauseous. Any thoughts, blood sugars are fine when happening as well as blood pressure. Oh and my heart gets kind of racing.
  14. Thought this was powerful and fitting.
  15. Page 81 of this thread, someone shared the link. If not 81, then 80 or 82.
  16. Went to dinner with friends, they chose GOLDEN CORRAL. Haahaha, I had my bariatric card someone had posted earlier. Thank you by the way, whomever that was!!! 6.99 for dinner, not bad at all! Ate a few things, the tilapia, fake crab salad, and one teaspoon of bourbon street chicken, really really chopped up and some pintos. 1/2 cup total. Was pretty much what I have been having at home, except the bourbon street chicken, but I did not have to cook it, different seasonings. I was tempted by their sugar free chocolate pudding, but did not trust it all the way around and passed it on by. Fun night with friends, needed that.
  17. @, I can not drink Water yet either, I have to add crystal light or something like to flavor it. Makes me liquid burp everytime if I don't
  18. Do you mind if I share a bit of relationship drama, ties in to things here, so there is a point in sharing. Been having a rough time with my guy friend, we do not have a defined relationship, he cant handle it after two failed marriages. but actions show we are in a "relationship" according to all our friends. But if pushed he will define as friend with benefits. A married woman he is friends with has made it clear she is interested. He told me he is not into her like that. He did not even see it until she wanted to go out of town with him alone.... DUH!!! They are friends and he sees her during work frequently. Now the problem, my brain won't let it go. This is mine to mess up if I obsess. I am struggling and being an investigator by trade, it is hard to not do what I know best. Now had a bad bad day yesterday, in my brain, it would not shut up. Wanted to eat, and eat and comfort myself with food. Shrimp corn chowder and fish tacos, steak and shake, five guys burger they were all calling my name LOUDLY! First time since surgery I have felt that way. But alas, I was good, and got fancy with my pureed, made a soft crab cake and some diced avocado. chewed and chewed, it did the trick, made me feel good about my choice and helped clear my brain.
  19. I have the unsweetened apple sauce, and two bits, just did not appeal to me, threw it out, might try adding cinnamon, that is also very good for you. will at least try it.
  20. I am only 3 weeks out but since surgery, have had very little appetite and no real temptation for anything "bad" I did smell bacon once, that set me in a stupor. BACONNNNN! Dont really feel any hunger unless i went way past meal time. Wanted to eat bad, (comfort food) to placate my rough day yesterday, but didnt. made me happy happy!
  21. Mine was the morphine pump. I had one with my hysterectomy and they had told me how often I could push it, 30 or 45 minutes apart. After my gastric bypass I remember being in alot of pain and asking how often I could push it, all I heard was every 6 minutes and so I tried to do that. Going in and out of consciousness trying to see the clock, til I was all out. Then I had to wait a couple hours til they could refill. That time I figured out to find out how many doses and how long it was meant to last. Again it was back to 30 to 45 minutes apart. Man was I high that first batch, felt like a goof.
  22. @@Bronxmerci, hang in there girl, it will get better.
  23. Mine was a hematoma also, took about 10 days but mine was on the hip and tennis ball size in swelling. Mine looked st nasty as it was where I hace alot of strech marks, swelling made it very lumpy.
  24. Walmart has a children's version of Tylenol with no added sugar or gluten, I have been using that.
  25. went to the thrift store today, started trying on 18's, went down to 16's and then to 14's. Been 20 years since a size 14 jeans. I got 1pair of 16 that is a good fit now, and one 14, that will be good in a week or two. And 4 tops, all of which size L, no X's in front of it.
