Has anyone gotten the HSG test done? It's a test to check to make sure your tubes aren't blocked. I have pcos and when I saw my gyno yesterday he suggested that I get the HSG test to make sure my tubes aren't blocked either. Then I got online an started reading up more on my pcos an the HSG test an ran across endometriosis. FYI I'm one of those people that hear about a disease an always think I have it! Lol, Smh.. Help!

I have been telling everyone, because it's something I'm excited about an want to share. People are always going to have something to say, but regardless of what they say I'm gonna do what I wanna do! Not what they want me to do! As for your so called friends... My doctor said I should wait at least 12 months to 18 months before trying, but I'm gnna wait just the 12. I think it would be fine since I see so many woman on here getting pregnant after just a few months. I'm on my liquid diet now, an counting the days down! How had ur success been this past month?

May 28 is my big day!! I'm excited but really NOT feeling this liquid diet, but oh we'll gotta do what we gotta do

I also am getting sleeve, and my doctor says I have hiatal hernia that he will fix as well. How did it go?

Oh so ur doctor was dr Scarsborough to? Yes I'm nervous, scared, an excited all at the same time! I have pcos an my main reason for this surgery is for me an my hubby to have babies! How has your journey been so far? How long ago was ur surgery an hoe much have you lost?

I also have uhc, but my process has been nothing like what you all have been thru. My case workers name was kelly and she was very persistent; calling me once every 2 weeks, sent me packages I'm mail with xtra info. My surgeons office sent submitted everything for an approval on 4/1, an my case worker kelly called me on 4/3 with GREAT news;) I was initially scheduled for 5/7 but i had to reschedule to 5/28 so I could be of for wrk.

I was diagnosed with pcos when I was 19, but little did I no I have had it all my life. I have never had a normal period. Mine won't come for 2-3 months but then when it does it will last for a whole month! Not non stop, it will be there in the morning an by lunch will be gone, then later in the evening would be back. It's so bad that I have to wear a pad all the time cause I never no when it's going to come! Me an my hubby have being trying to conceive for about 7 years using chlomid an metformin, but it was a no go. My fertility specialist recommended the sleeve because of the great results of alot of other patients. So... I am scheduled to have the surgery at the end of the month 5/28/14. I start my liquid diet on the 14th

Believe me... I feel you! Smh.. Alot of mine dnt understand either. There not because they dnt feel the struggle we go through.

I'm having mine at park plaza to! As a matter of fact my doctor is dr Scarsborough at the TLC big building right next door. I have to get done at park plaza because my insurance requires a center of excellence. I got my egd dne there an it was pretty nice though

Yay!! I found a surgery buddy;) what area are you in? You starting your liquid diet on 14th? What shakes did u get? I got the total lean 25, cookies n cream flavor an chocalote peanut butter flavor.

Thanks for the input. I actually started doing shakes a few days ago, trying to tapper off instead of going cold turkey:)

I start my full liquid pre op diet on Wednesday 5/14... Any suggestions? I bout the gnc total lean 25 shakes to do but I no I am going to get burnt out

Are the trader joes bad tasting? I'm having surgery on 5/28 an I start my liquid diet on 5/14 an I'm supposed to start a chewable multivitamin but I'm skeptical about the bad tastes an throwing up
