  3. Absolutely stunning! Congratulations!
  4. Yeah I made the mistake of telling one of my coworkers that I was having WLS and taking 2-3 weeks off. Her comment was "oh wow! , so when you come back you'll be like a 100 lbs lighter? " I didn't know what to say to her. She seemed serious cause she asked me again later that day. 100lbs in 2-3 weeks? Seriously? And we work in the medical field. I go back to work on Monday, I wonder what she'll say when she finds out I'm "only" 20lbs down!

  7. My cycle started the day after surgery and I woke up the day of surgery with a bad sinus infection, yucky! I was extremely nauseous
  8. I'm only a week post op, but my surgery and weight loss has actually brought my husband and I closer. We've had to work together to support each other because a week before my surgery, my husband lost his father. So it's been tough for the both of us but has made our relationship a lot stronger.
  9. Hey everyone, I was sleeved on June 3rd and released the next morning. Surgery went very well even the hospital staff was impressed with how fast my recovery went. I'm a week post op and still doing well. I was supposed to move on to a pureed diet today from a clear liquid diet but I actually started the pureed diet a few days ago because I was so weak and the only thing I could tolerate was water. I'm about to handle a few things now and my energy is returning. Every day gets better!

  14. I was sleeved yesterday! Surgery and recovery went so well that I was sent home less than 24hrs after surgery. I'm not in any pain just a little nauseous. I so happy with my decision!
  15. My surgery is June 3rd with Dr.Gersin in Charlotte, NC. I'm so excited!
  16. I have medcost preferred. My initial consultation was April 9th and my surgery is June 3rd.
