Hello all I'm sooo happy I got my insurance approval letter in the mail today....August 25th is all set....

doc wants me to start preop August 18th! But Im starting the 11th! My original surgery date was July 15th but insurance required 2 more NUT visits.So i got kinda bummed about it all and splurged a bit and put a couple pounds back on. I was just disappointed I guess when I set my mind on something and it doesnt come through it bothers me. But that was short lived because honestly I feel better when I eat better.So hence the one week earlier preop start date. Ive been looking for reasonable priced shakes..So let me know if you find any deals please...and congrats on your decision to be a new healthier you.

My husband loves to eat he's a southern man and his life is encompassed by food. I refuse to have surgery and not. Take care of myself.Im starting my liq diet on the 11th and he volunteered to join me...im starting to get really nervous about surgery also realizing that not only is my life gonna change drastically but my family lives as well..Healthier choices all around....

awe wow sorry to hear that, however as I look at everyones experience seems like almost half of everybody gets denied first which kinda sucks..trust me I know what youre going through I had my last surgeon appointment may 30 and got a surgery date of july 15th only for them to call me bk like a week later to tell me that insurance didnt approve because they wanted me to see the dietician 2 more times oh was I bummed.. I felt let down needless to say I went to the dietician in june and july and now I have the new surgery date of august 25th..They called me yesterday to confirm the time and I can honestly say I was excited a little bit but im holding bk a little because with this whole process its almost as if you dont know whats next...all i can say is to pray about it and your time will come for sure...hang in there and smile!!!

i had to do the same thing..My original date was july 15th 2014, but insurance wanted me to do 2 more dietician visits..that was in may so i saw the dietician june and this month for an august surgery date..It was such a downer and unfortunately I fell off the wagon a bit because of the disappointment..I prayed about it and got back on track and I just left it in gods hands and you should too try not to be bummed things will turn out just fine and keep us posted still..GOOD LUCK TO YOU

For my preop appt I was told I have gallstonesFor the gallbladder it's directly related to your liver Pain is on the upper right of your body and it hurts like after you eat and the pain does not subside when you inhale and exhale to breathe It just sits in that spot like on the right side almost under your breast..and I also agree that if nothing goes away for sure see your physician

I totally get it!! My original surgery date was July 15th I set everything up at work only for the surgeon to call me and say the insurance wants two more months of dietary planning I was crushed...so what I DID was call him and set up my OWN date according to what was available so that my schedule wouldn't clash..YOU CAN always change your date through your surgeon to prevent any conflicts at work..they're pros they understand that stuff!! Hope alls well and good luck
