  16. What is so bad about diet pop? I had my sleeve on May 12, 2014 & all I want is a diet pepsi. I've been struggling with a headache for a few days now (I'm prone to them) & haven't been able to take Excedrin Migraine yet. Caffeine has always helped in the past. Even the thought of trying to drink a cup of coffee makes my stomach burn. HELP!!!!!
  17. I'm 3 weeks out & I haven't followed the diet guidelines but what you guys have said made sense. I can't stomach another Protein shake for the life of me. I have already had nuts, steak, etc but I've also had a lot of pain & nausea after eating just a little bit. You guys have made me think that maybe I should slow it down. The only thing I won't change is swallowing pills. I have stopped all my meds except for the ones I need & only if they are small tablets. The crushed pills are just too bad. I have been swallowing whole tablets for about a week now & before that I was cutting them in 1/2 or 1/4's. I started refusing the meds in the hospital unless they would it in my IV.
  18. I'm 3 weeks out & I can't eat anything without taking a Zofran right after. It's miserable. I just want to skip the healing part & move on to living with the sleeve.
  19. OMG! My acid is so bad! I basically sleep sitting up & that still doesn't help. I take 2 pepcids a day & countless tums throughout the day. The burning from the acid wakes me up at night. I'm counting down the days till it calms down... Thanks for the idea to go off the meds slowly Rootman. I would have just stopped at about 6 months!
  20. Hi Bruce. My name is Joann & I had my sleeve done May 12, 2014 at Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove.
