  1. I'm having my surg 4 weeks from tomorrow , and since it's Mother's Day I can't help but think what my next Mothers day will be like , what I will be like. So excited to start this new chapter in my life! I was invited to go kayaking this morning with some fellow moms/ friends, I declined only because I'm scared I will be too big for the kayak. Next year I hope to go!
  2. My hubby bought bagels this morning for Mother's Day, and just said to me next Mother's Day you won't finish a whole bagel, that made it sound so real, tomorrow I start my pre op diet, 4 weeks til my wls! I'm so ready for this!
  3. I'm also scheduled for June 9. I started exercise 3 weeks ago, and cutting back on food intake, I start the liquid diet 14 days before surgery, anyone recommend a good protein shake?

  7. Thanks for all your input. I understand that you have to make right choices, I understand that I will probably still crave the wrong things, it just amazes me how so many of us have struggled, and there is finally a way to overcome this fight! I guess I've failed so many times that I can not accept that this time I will succeed ! I hope so! Good luck to all of us!
  8. I enjoy reading everyone's posts, this may seem like a stupid question, but how do all of you keep up the will power to stay in track? I'm pre op, I want this more than anything , but I've failed every diet ! How does the surgery change your will power to stick with it? Or is it that you don't really have a choice?lol I hope I can do this, I start the liquid diet in 2 weeks!
  9. Great to know! Thanks, I felt very positive coming out of his office, good luck to you!
