  1. http://www.abigattitude.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=4445blk Love these! They are tight and help control jiggling. High waisted to cover the rolls and help flatten the fat. They do not roll or ride up. I wear them under loose exercise pants and it makes me feel good not to jiggle in exercise class. Love love them!!! So worth the money.
  2. May 27th (gulp...tomorrow) in Central NJ.
  3. Bellini...how much are they charging your insurance company for the scar cream? Check an EOB statement. I heard it is close to $5000! Watch your pharmacy max if you have one!
  4. I can shower 2 days after surgery without wraps of any sort. I specifically remember the nurse in our preop class said we could swim 2 weeks post op. But again....depends on how you heal.
  5. I was nervous about the EGD too. However it flew by with no problems. The sedation drugs are great!! One minute you are awake and the next minute you have completed the procedure and do not remember a thing. I was nervous for nothing. And then you get to go home and take a long wonderful nap!
  6. I am scheduled for May 27th too. 5'8" Highest and preop diet weight 330.
  7. My surgery is May 27th. I am glad my doctor put me on a two-week pre op diet. I got the caffeine headache over with. I got the head hungry over with. It took me 4 days to detox from all the crappy food. The 5th day and on i have felt sooo much better. I am ready to rock the sleeve.
  8. BariatricCeliac...that is horrible. I would be bawling too. Let us know what the drs office says. Hopefully the surgery will be soon!!

  10. 110lbs! Awesome! Keep up the great work! I will be following in your steps soon!
  11. Will do dsmith_rn. My starting weight is 330 at 5'8" so I expect to lose a lot with a lot of hard work. I think I will have a hard time getting rid of all my outgrown clothes. I am so used to putting them in storage bins in the basement only to pull them out again when I regain the weight.
  12. Fabulous! When is your surgery date?
  13. I am a RN too but currently a SAHM. I am having the sleeve on May 27th. I am currently on the preop diet. I cannot believe that 3 months has gone by already since I went to the first information meeting. Time flies by.
  14. MommaD88...thanks for sharing that website. I will look through it. I have never seen it before and looks like a lot of good info.

  16. I mean Terribj...not terrible! Auto correct....
  17. Terrible...that is beautiful. I thank you with tears in my eyes. I am still preop and that hit home.
  18. I cannot wait until I can shop those stores! You may not get me out of the mall!
  19. Are there prescription meds or over the counter?
  20. I bought sample packets. Some websites have different samples you can buy and try. My Bariatric Pantry and Unjury were some websites I used to buy samples.
  21. Good luck to you! Take a deep breath...you got it!
  22. Good luck to you Ladybug123! I will follow you in 2 weeks!
