  1. I had a stall for 2 months about 2 months after surgery and another stall at like 5 months for weeks
  2. I can't believe this is happening today. After I swore to myself last June when I recieved the sleeve, it was a secret. I have had so much success with it and finally opened up to my sister in law this weekend. She reacted exactly the way I knew she would. Judge judge judge! Ugh.... All the typical stuff "You didn't want to go to the gym" "Easy way out" As she said things like how could you not tell me? Then she gossiped about it to friends and family member over the last 4 days!!!!!!! Today she tells me she assumed it was ok to tell people.... And that if I wanted it a secret I shouldn't have told her! I have no idea what to do next.... I am so embarrassed!!!!! Trust no one seriously
  3. Today I am 3 weeks out and have started my soft stage. I have had 2 20oz protein shakes with low fat milk. Then I have had 1/4 cottage cheese twice, 1oz Tuna with mayo, 2 sugar free Popsicles, and 1/4 applesauce, and 1 wedge laughing cow cheese,. After 3 weeks of like nothing, this seems like overload. Is it?
  4. Very sorry for your loss. As horrifying as that must be, we have a lot in common. I am 35 with 4 biological children. )1,3,6,9 I was sleeved on 6/30 Starting weight 186 After 17 days I was 170 ( I'm not gonna weigh in for. Few more days) My bmi was 30 I too did cash pay and insurance covered my hiatial hernia repair. I only told a neighbor that I am super close too and my husband. I hope to never let the secret out to family. They don't have the education about our process and I feel like even if I was blue if the face explaining how tough this has been they will still think it was the easy way out for me. I agree I seen heavy people everywhere an don't understand how they haven't had this done yet

  13. So I really want to do this lap band but have has issues with sticking since childhood. As a child my parents did nothing about it by at 25 in happened so bad I ended up in the ER. I guess I get " rings" on my aspphogus. I have has several upper gi"s to strech it out over the past 10 yrs. I am scared to go through with lap band in fear of all I read about "being stuck". Anyone else have this issue. The sensation is terrifying, I don't understand how people can handle it.

  18. I have a bmi of 30 and I cannot wait to get this done. Do I do sleeve or band? 4 kids and bad habits have put an extra 60lbs on my 5.5" frame. I am 181 and would love to see the 130"s again. I know band is less invasive but it seems like so many people regret going that route?
