  2. I take Opurity vitamins. Capsule - not chewable - so no nasty taste.

  6. You can make "overnight oats" in your fridge. They show them made in mason jars but any small container with a lid will work. You can even make enough for the week all at once then just grab them from the fridge each morning. The flavor combinations are endless. I cut the recipe in half because I can't eat as much as before. I also substitute Splenda for the sugar, and use almond milk instead of milk. They're cold, but you can warm them in the microwave. Many of the recipes call for chia seeds, but you can leave then out if you want. They do have quite a bit of protein in them (and no taste), so I leave them in. I cut the recipe in half because I can't eat a full serving. They're good for snacks too. Pinterest has hundreds of recipes. It's a great time saver. 7. I've thrown up twice since my sx. Really easy both times.
  8. I bake. I take a bite or two, save some fory husband and give the rest away. Bake whAtever you want.
  9. Low carbs, discontinuing caffeine can cause headaches.
  10. Am post menopausal - 10 yrs +. Out of the blue I nad a menstual cycle about six weeks prior to surgery, and another as soon as I got home from the hospital. Nothing since (fingers crossed). I had an ultrasound, but gun said uterine lining was fine.

  13. When I came out of surgery I had a pain pump, so no pain. They disconnected it the next day - still no pain. My abdominal area was a little sore for almost a week - sore like I'd done too many sit-ups. That was it. I was thrilled with the outcome.
  14. I'm careful about how much goes in, so that's not it. Are they harder to digest/take longer to digest maybe? Eggs are a little tough also, no matter how I prepare them.
  15. My sx was on Aug 25. Down 31 pounds. I can drink slowly so I get my protein shakes in. I can eat fish, shrimp, crab - goes I'm great with no problems. Beef, pork, and chicken - including eggs- not so much. I chew them to mush but then they feel like they're just sitting there. Heavy lump in chest, takes quite a while to go down. Vomited once after pork. Is this common at my stage? Does it improve later on?

  17. I'm at four weeks and still pretty weak. I sleep quite a bit. Before sx I was very strong - gone now. I expect it will come back gradually.
  18. I've lost ten percent of my original self in one month!
  19. HW 290. Sw 290. Cw 262. Jacksonville, FL. Had a one week stall but the scale started moving again yesterday. Surgery date August 25 Height 5' 9 1/2". 55y.o. I'm thrilled. 28 pounds down. Problems: I can get the liquid and protein in, but im never hungry, but I have no appetite. Don't want to eat. I never feel hungry. It is uncomfortable to eat I sometimes, and then there's those damned nasty foul vitamins. But I'm working on it and doing very well. Right after the surgery in the hospital I just knew I'd made a horrible mistake - now I see that I made a wonderful decision.
  20. My sx was on Aug 25. Lost 24 pounds in the first three weeks, then had a stall for a week. Scale just started moving again and I'm at 28 pounds.
  21. No pain here either. None. Surgery on 8/25. No pain medicine needed after discharge, no gas pains. I'm thrilled!!!
