I am January 6th also, can't wait

Hi, I am 48. and no one really said what the problem is yet, guess I have to wait to see cardiologist

I finally finished up all my tests!! yay! right, but no, so far I was denied from insurance, so my husband says we will pay, great right? so I go to see PCP and start all my tests, blood work OK, sleep study OK, EGD OK, psych eval not good have to go back, because the lady that typed it up for the Dr. left out the most important part, that I was cleared for surgery, OK psych eval complete. now EKG abnormal go for stress test, abnormal now i have to see a cardiologist I know it is for my health, but I really don't think there is anything wrong with my heart, but maybe by the end of all this testing there will be from all the stress!!!! sorry just had to vent

Had my first Dr. visit in August, I thought I had all my tests done, but I have one more on Thursday, plus my Psych eval was incomplete. seeing the Psych Dr. on Thursday also, I asked the center after all my tests are complete and with them, how long before a date and she said 4 weeks out, so I am hoping for 5 weeks from now, if not then may have to wait till January. best of luck to everyone.

I only had one, but I had to have two heart clearances, first the EKG, now I have to get a stress test done before I can have surgery, it sucks!!!! my test is next thursday then maybe a week after that I will be able to get a date? fingers crossed for both of us.

Hi, my name is Diane and I just started the process in August I am self pay, and it still takes months. I thought I was done with all my tests and waiting for a date, then the clinic called and said I need cardiac clearance because of abnormal EKG, my PCP said my EKG was ok, not bad, but because of surgery, I have to have one more test, so now the waiting is what kills me, waiting to hear when my stress test will be. have to get insurance approval before I can have the test done. I was hoping for an October date, but maybe it will be November. With my job, I can't go into December, it is our busy time, so if not Nov. then I will have to wait till Jan.

The last "what If " is the best!!! I think we all feel the same way! I am waiting on my surgery date

I was so excited, I finally completed all my tests and just had to wait for the center to receive all the results, Then I got a call from the center telling me my EKG was abnormal and I now need to see a cardiac specialist, for yet another test. I don't understand, I was just put under for my EGD on tuesday and I have had nine other surgeries in the past and never had to have cardiac clearance, does it ever end? one step forward, two steps back!

I would suggest dehydration, try drinking more?

I have now completed all of my tests except upper GI, which will happen one Tuesday. Although I am still waiting on the results of my mamogram( had to go back for more scans and an ultrasound) so by this time next week I am hoping to hear when my surgery date will be!!! please pray that the mamogram turns out to be nothing, so I can procede at this time

Finally have my psych eval on Thursday and my upper GI next tuesday, still waiting for sleep study, then I can get a surgery date. I may have a hurdle to get over first though, I had a mammogram last week and I have to go back tomorrow for more scans. one step forward two steps back!!
