  1. thanks mimi and skinny, yes skinny my scar goes all the way down and up around toward the middle of the crease of my butt on both sides. REally long big scars.
  2. hey sweetie, my port does not stick out at all. I can feel it but it is right under the skin. I did the same, I asked my PS what he thought I should get. Although the implants were my decision. I have always had large breasts and they had just shrunk. I am a DD now and very happy I went as big as I did. My favorite is my tummy tuck. I had alot of extra skin which you can see in my pics. But all in all, I am so happy with everything I had and would do it again in a heart beat.
  3. just posted new thigh pics! Let me know what you think. Julie.. hey there! Wow thanks for reading my thread. I actually don't remember the drive home from the tt/ba or the ride home from the thigh lift. Hubby kept me nice and drugged up. LOL. The tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and lipo surgery was a little over 8 hours long. My thigh lift and lipo surgery was I believe 3 hours. What are you thinking of having done?
  4. Cabin fever has set in. I have to say the pain is really not bad at all. It is more of a pulling sensation. The scars are alot longer than I anticipated. They go almost all the way up to my tummy tuck scar and all the way down and up the crease of my butt. My thighs are looking pretty good. I think I was expecting a better result but my hubby says I am still really swollen. I had alot of lipo done as well and wow are my thighs sore. The bruising is starting to set in. I am off of the percocets completely. I just want to get out of this house! Doc said I had to stay in bed with knees elevated for at a minimum 1 week. ugh. I have a fill appt on monday and a post op appt on tuesday so I will be able to get out then. My weight went way up after surgery and now I am wayyyy down. I will have hubby take some pics today. Well I hope everyone is having a great day.
  5. Hey there. Well, I am getting pretty miserable. Just laying in bed being helpless is so frustrating. My doc says I can't do stairs and since I am on the third floor I am pretty much stuck. I am weaning off the percocets, the itching and nightmares were to much. The pain isn't bad just really sore and uncomfortable. The scars are alot higher and farther back then I thought they would be. I do love how my thighs look, not to tight and not to loose. I had alot more lipo done and wow are they sore. I am still taking the antibiotics for the urinary trach infection. so today I had a really rough day. My daughter kelsey was supposed to help me out today and totally bailed on me. I went all day until 4 with no food at all. She thought someone was coming to stay with me. I almost had a nervous breakdown. I was starving and really frustrated. I am really emotional here lately. I know it's just from being through so much in the last couple of months. well, I am going to get some sleep. Wish me sweet dreams lol
  6. Good Morning. Well I am 2 days out from my thigh lift. The percocets are making me itch alllllll over, it's driving me crazy. Hubby is picking me up some benadryl after he gets off of work. The nightmares from the percs are not fun either. I am pleasantly surprised how easy the thigh lift was and is. I can walk, although I am only walking to the bathroom. I am really swollen, I didn't have drains for the thighs and am up 7 pounds since day of surgery eeek. I know it's fluid since I really haven't eaten much at all. I did ask my doc about my left puckered boob. He took a look at it and said that the puckering is where my old crease was, the puckering will go away within 6 months as the implant pushes down on it. Whew that was a relief. My thighs don't hurt they just kinda burn. And only after I get up to go to the bathroom. They feel great as I am laying down. I did get another urinary trach infection, I must be allergic to the catheter. Well, I am going to go take a snooze. Have a great day.
  7. Hi everyone.. so I am home, full of percocets lol. The surgery was a huge success and was a piece of cake compared to the last one. I love love love my new thighs. They no longer touch each other woo hoo. I will post pics in the next couple of days. I'm beat so heading off to take a little snooze. xoxo
  8. GAHHHH tomorrow is my thigh lift!!! This is the last of my body transformation surgeries. I went out and partied it up last night, had a great time with some great friends. I am excited and so nervous all at the same time. I am definetly not as nervous as I was last time but still worried about the pain. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
  9. Hey there Skinny, The Mederma doens't make me itchy and no I don't have any skin peeling. Maybe you are allergic to it. Thanks for the well wishes. I am excited and nervous. Have a great day!
  10. Hey Fanny, It's great to hear you are doing well! I also have been wearing underwire, the implants are heavy and I don't want them to drop much more! I have to tell you, I've been using Mederma and it is doing wonders on my scars. I am not sure if they sell it there but it's definetly worth looking in to. Have a great day and shake your new booty girl!
  11. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH MY GOSH! I just realized that my thigh lift is in 6 days! I actually thought I had 2 weeks left! Holy Moly! That's what happens when you don't work, the day's just fly by and you never know what the day is or the day of the week. Sooo crazy. I freaked out and just about had a heart attack, I hadn't even booked my hotel room yet! So here I am just days away from my final "body transformation" surgery. So excited and so nervous. I really hope this goes well. They called today to change my time from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. which is actually better so hubby can go to work for a couple of hours before surgery then he can go to work a couple of hours the next day after we get home from surgery. The only thing is I won't be able to eat or drink from midnight on.. I will be sooo thirsty by the time my surgery comes. Ok so on to how I am doing from the previous surgery. I love how the swelling is getting less and less every day. My nipples still don't have the sensitivity they used to but I know something is going on, when I am cold my nips point right out, also if I pinch them really hard I can feel it, so the feeling is starting to finally come back. Praise God! The only weird thing that I have found is the funniest thing.. it's my belly button, I used to have a very shallow belly button and never thought twice about it. I would shower and wash my belly and since my belly button was shallow I barely had to wash it. So since my new belly button has been healing I haven't really explored it until yesterday. I thought I should clean it out.. HOLY MOLY it is like a little over an inch deep and bleck there is lint and stuff in it! I have a belly button that collects stuff. sooooo gross! I totally think it is disgusting! I am obsessed with cleaning it now since I hadn't cleaned it out since surgery and bleck it was so gross. I went through like 20 q-tips cleaning it out. Sorry if this sounds gross but it was something I had no idea was something that could happen. I need a belly button plug or something lol. I never thought about people's belly buttons, I never thought about having to "clean" your belly button. The Mederma seems to be working great. I am seeing a very noticeable change in my scars. They are fading so fast. Well, have a great day everyone!!!
  12. I too was also terrified of surgery, especially the night before but when I realized that being obese was going to kill me one way or another I realized this was my "chance" to not only be healthy but happy. I have to say, I thought I was happy, I thought I was a "healthy" obese person, but honestly I was neither. I am very happy as a matter of fact I am ecstatic now. I would do it again in a heartbeat and am now sitting here below goal, post plastic surgery, loving my life sooooo much! I wish you luck and pray you make the right decision for you. Take a look at my pics and see where I came from and where I am now. Please look at my face.. you can see how ecstatic I am now.
  13. That's awesome Debbie! So glad that you don't have to wait for your home to be built. You will be doing all those things you love before you know it. Thanks for the compliment.. I don't feel like the same person either lol
  14. Congrats Angel!! That is great news. Very very happy for you girl! Debbie, I am glad that you are surrounded by caring people in your time of need. Are you rebuilding? I am doing great. I am loving my new flat tummy and my new "girls" lol. I go on the 18th to get my thigh lift and am a little nervous about it. I know it won't be as bad as this last surgery thank the Lord. I am still not 100% from the tt and ba. I did buy 3 bikinis woohoo. I am heading to Florida at the end of April with a girl friend for some sun and sand. We have been blasted with lots of snow and cold air like most of the country and I am sooo looking forward to some nice weather. I hope everyone is doing great!
  15. Hey Mimi, I am feeling soo much better thanks! I actually went out and spent some time with friends today. We are expecting snow tomorrow so I will be stuck inside all day again. We are having another Thanksgiving day tomorrow. Lot's to be thankful for plus hubby got another free Turkey from work so got to cook the sucker!
  16. New Pics posted in my private album! Pictures were taken just a little bit ago, so I am hoping to take some more in the morning so you can see the difference in my swelling. I really think Mederma is making a difference, especially on my breast scars. I have been lucky and haven't had any of the severe itching that others have had post surgery. I just have the weird ant crawling feeling but only when I touch my tummy. Thanks Mimi, and Great, I am still running a 102 fever but drinking lots of fluids, I just took a shower and wow I feel almost human. Have a great night!
  17. Hey Great! I picked up yarn and a crochet hook and I am almost done with a scarf! It has really helped me focus on something besides food. I plan on making quite a few scarves and baby blankets lol. I am in bed sick today. I have been babysitting some little kids and have gotten sick. Those little kids were coughing and sneezing like crazy. I lysoled my whole house but still woke up in the middle of the night running a 102 fever and a very sore throat. I have till the 18th to get healthy before surgery. I am really anxious about this surgery. I hope it isn't tooo painful.
  18. Wow ohh Kate I am sorry you are sooo itchy. I thankfully haven't had that issue. It must drive you crazy being itchy but unable to satisfy it. I would be punching people lol. I am glad the benadryl is helping!
  19. Good Morning! Well every day I feel better and better. I still have the really weird numb feeling all over. It feels sooo weird when hubby runs hand over my tummy. It's almost to weird feeling. So I started weighing myself in the morning and at night. I gain between 5-8 pounds every evening. I am guessing that it is still just swelling since it goes away by the next morning. I have to admit that I stopped wearing my garment when we went to Virginia.. so I stopped a week early. I have to wear the garment again after my thigh lift on the 18th for 6 weeks and really just wanted a break from it. I really really really love my new body. I get so many compliments and alot of attention lol. My hubby is very proud of me, he always has been but it's sooo great to see this new sparkle in his eyes when he looks at me. So many people ask us if we are newlyweds lol. Ok so the bad, I still have NOOOOO feeling in my nipples. The boobs are sensitive but the nipples are zilch. I am praying the feeling comes back. I honestly am not sure I would do them again if I knew for sure I would have no feeling in them. I love my new boobs but really miss the sensitvity of my nipples. I am also struggling with food again. I find myself wanting to cook all the time. I have always been like that in the winter, especially around the holidays. It has been so cold and snow bound here that I guess it's almost like I am nesting. I hate that I am thinking about food alot. I plan on going to the craft store today and get a cross stitch to help me focus on something constructive instead of the food. I realize I am such a weak person and without my band I would be 300 + pounds again in no time. I can hardly wait to be able to excercize again. I hope everyone has a great day! xoxo
  20. Hey everyone! I just got back from Virginia last night. My dh's father was very sick with pneumonia and in icu so we made a quick trip down to visit him. He is doing much better! My sister also just had her identical twin boys on Dec 26th one month early. They are doing great and went home yesterday I unfortunately gained like 4 pounds since Christmas uggh. I need to get my butt back on track. Eating all junk while traveling is not a good thing, plus all the candy. I know and knew better but still ate it anyway. So now I am depressed lol. I hate that I can't excercize to get it off. So now I just have to be extra careful with what I am eating. I hope everyone has a wonderful New Years'! It's so great to not have the resolution to lose tons of weight this year. my resolution this year is to be the happiest I can ever be!
  21. Ohhhh Angel I am sooooooooooooo excited for you! I can hear how happy you are! It's so great that your band is finally working for you. Just try not to put to much pressure on getting to a certain number.. just losing 1 to 2 pounds a week is a great accomplishment!!! So excited for you, 2010 is your year Angel!!!!!
  22. good morning! Well my identical twin nephews were born last night~ 1 month early but weighing in at 5.8 lbs and 5.14 lbs.. nice and healthy boys! Very excited Auntie here.. they are named Logan and Liam! Ok so on to other stuff, Kate, I would say get it done!!!! I am sooo in love with my new flat tummy and firm even perky boobs. I am all for plastic surgery. And for those that are "afraid" to lose weight because of loose skin.. I say bs.. I would rather have loose skin than be fat ever again. When I had clothes on you couldn't see my loose skin, you saw a thin happy person.. and with my clothes off I did have loose skin but was still much more attractive than when all that skin was filled out with fat. If I couldn't have afforded the ps I would have still loved my body, I would have still been happy with my weight loss. I am just now ecstatic with everything. I feel so amazing. It really gave me a new lease on life. I feel a good 10 years younger. What about you Kate? Ok so I am a little freaked out that I still don't have alot of feeling in my nipples yet. I also hate how it feels when hubby rubs my tummy soooo weird.. all my new stuff feels so disconnected to me. I know the nerves are all rebounding but it skeeves me out. I also think it's so weird how I will be doing something and all of a sudden all my stomache muscles tighten up like I am doing a full on sit up while I am standing up! Ughh. But hey if I am getting excercize without realizing it so be it lol. Even at a month out, I still get tired easily, still don't feel 100% I'm probably at like 90% depending on the time of day.. at night I'm like at 80%. I am excited and scared about my thigh lift. Just knowing another 10 weeks of no excercize is daunting. I am also really nervous about being in pain again and feeling helpless. This time though I will be popping the stool softeners like crazy! I did get a perscription for a higher dosage of percocets. I know that I will only need them for the first couple of days but I don't want to be a pain in the butt to my hubby. One good thing that came out of all of this is my IBS is absoloutely gone. With the lapband it had improved soooo much but now I am like a normal person! So loving that! Well have a wonderful day everyone! xoxo
  23. Merry Christmas Eve!!! So tonight we went to our annual Christmas Eve party at my sister's house. It was a great time!!! Everyone kept commenting on how great I looked. My Aunts who I hadn't seen since last Christmas were so shocked.. lol they kept talking about how I used to be the "biggest of the family" and now I am the smallest. I loved it My hubby gave me an early Christmas present tonight. A cross necklace from Tiffany's I love it so very much. I have been feeling really great and really loving how my body is looking. I will post some pics from tonight.
