  3. Anyone lift seriously after surgery . I have been lifting more weight than I ever had in my life but I am also the heaviest I have ever been. Having surgery in next few months . I am so concerned about being weak and losing a lot if muscle when I lose weight

  6. I have trouble withy knees as well . I Had surgery on my left knee several years ago . I use the elliptical trainer, this does not bother my knees at all . Also I just started swimming . This is very low impact and get a great workout . Just a few suggestions . Everyone is different so you have to find out what works for you. Good luck
  7. I am a 40 year male who is 5'5". I currently weigh around 310 lbs. my goal is to be around 200lbs after surgery . I had a meeting with my surgeon and she recommended the sleeve for me .she stated with the amount of weight I wanted to lose the sleeve if my best option .
  8. How long was everyone off after surgery before they returned to work ? I was planning on 2 weeks. I sit behind a desk all day so my job job is not physically demanding .
  9. I just told my employer I am halving surgery and will require a few weeks off.
  10. One of the best things I did is find a workout partner .we motivate each other to go and getting there is the hardest part for me.
  11. Did anyone workout prior to surgery? I am lifting weights 2-3 days a week and trying to walk at least 4 times a week .
