  1. Lately I've been a mess. I was stuck for almost a month between 195-200 up down up down and have really been cranky angry and sad...but I don't know why. Im an emotional eater and can't/won't do that anymore but just don't like the person I've been. Anyone else feeling or going through anything similar?
  2. Can you share the name, creatine or not, I like the stats!
  3. Radishes!!! I never thought of that. I love the garlic one on red bell pepper Yum!
  4. The only one that had that effect on me was bariatric advantage. I actually use one a week to keep me regular. Lots of fiber in that baby lol. Maybe you could switch them up, see if a different one has a different affect or try mixing it with milk maybe add a blended banana or some applesauce?
  5. That seems like a lot of carbs and sugar.
  6. Did you have hernia repair? My surgeon told me he had two patients who he accidentally sewed up too tight during hernia repain but fixrd with endoscopy. Is this a possibility for you?
  7. Yeah these things will cure you of that...fast! Lol
  8. Angry! Very good way to describe it!!!
  9. So I got my order of protein "chips" in Friday's mail and tried them over the weekend. Gross!! I couldn't eat more than two the aftertaste was awful. I guess another donation to my support group!
  10. Search the threads for vitamins there are many people prefer, I had a very hard time after and made the mistake of over buying before hand now have a lot of liquid and chewables wasted. You can get some samples free...good luck!
  11. I had the same thing when I was just sleeved. I explained it to my surgeon by saying it felt like my stomach was attacking everything I drank! It's normal and will pass in probably a month all part of the healing process. Every day gets a little bit better. Good luck!
  12. My nutritionist said the common denominator in people who gain after wls is going back to regular soda. Not worth it to me!
  13. @zanesmom I told my sisters the same thing! They're so judgemental I wasn't comfortable telling them. After my weight loss they are always questioning me it's anoying! God luck!
  14. Im almost 4months out down 50lbs and still cannot tolerate an egg! I too foam and heave if I drink too soon after that last bite... Good luck
  15. I ordered the bariatric advantage caramel chews and they taste like coffee I hate coffee!
  16. Now when I try to call I get a message saying "mailbox is full"- very frustrated!
  17. I have tried eggs over and over they revisit every time! I can't stand the smell anymore *gag*
  18. Cry if you need to! I know I did and it helped. I had severe nausea and couldn't even think about getting my protein in for the first month. I concentrated on staying hydrated because everything I drank hurt or made me nauseated. I lived on G2 and crystal lite and sf jello because anything cold hurt. Try tea, chicken broth, and water/crystal lite at room temp. It might help, don't be too hard on yourself and it does get easier, one day at a time! Hang in there *hugs from NY*
  19. Can someone walk me through adding a pic to my profile?
  20. Hi all, I am 3 months out of surgery and sick with a bad cold for the second time. Two weeks ago I got sick and lost my voice, it still hasn't returned. Could this be a reflux issue? Anyone else experience something similar?
  21. My surgery was April 23 and although I am on regular foods I still don't lose if I don't get my protein shakes in. Two a day equal 60gr and as for food I eat protein first then maybe I eat 2pieces of broccolli or 6green beans and I'm done. There's no way I could get my protein requirements in on food alone. I do taste things often to see how it feels and bread and pasta are not my friends! Im down almost 50lbs but was stuck at 200 for what seemed like forever!
  22. My surgeons office NUT told us in support group the common denominator of people who regain after wls is going back to carbonated drinks, diet or regular. If you're drinking beer and diet soda that could be contributing to your not feeling full. Please don't give up and trust me when I tell you, your dr's office WANTS to hear the truth, that's the only way they can help you. Good luck!
  23. I suggest ordering the sample pack. I did and couldn't stand them! They made me gag so I gave them away at support group!
  24. Oh no I'm so sorry. That's the worst to have to taste it twice!
  25. I tried the wellese liquid vitamins before surgery they were fine after, I can't keep them down. The chewables were more tolerable.
