  1. I had the same problem, it was trapped gas. Only thing I could do was try walking and walking. This too shall pass....excuse the pun. Good Luck!
  2. Oh, I have to agree with nursekathy2u....football would be so much more enjoyable without big mouth madden!
  3. I had a lot of trouble with gas pains also. They were horrible. And, as all the bandster will tell you, and what I found out is true...is WALK, WALK, WALK. Good luck, and hang in there. It gets better and better.
  4. I almost went to Mexico too, because I was self-pay....but the biggest draw back for me was--fills, and complications. Thank the Lord I have not had one complication, but have had three fills. Make sure you get those things lined up before you go. Good luck!
  5. Hi all, I just had a total face lift, upper and lower eyes done. I am 55, and with the weight I have lost, I could really see the old face sagging. I am still very sore, but hopefully in a few weeks, I will see a huge differnce. Good luick to all.
  6. Haven't had a TT, but on 5/2 going in for a facelift, upper and lower eye lids. This is my BD present to myself....turned 55 last week....I deserve it. Don't ya' think?
  7. JillyB, I promise it is all worth it. The time will start going faster, and before you know it, clothes will be falling off. You won't be focusing on food, you will want to go shopping. Hang in there.
  8. Hi Kellcap, My surgeon is Spivak also. In fact, I go tomorrow the 22nd for my third fill. No, he doesn't give a local, but trust me, you won't need one. The port needle does not hurt. It is a very light stick, and is not uncomfortable at all. Good Luck, and don't you just love him?
  9. not no, but Hell NO...you really don't want to see that. I promise.
  10. Good question. I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the face? I know I am older than most, 54, but it seems now that the weight is coming off, I look even older! yikes! I guess a face lift is next.
  11. OK, OK....where is the first post...I want this website! thanks!!

Hi L, I was a self pay with Dr. Spivak in Houston. The total cost was $15,000, and that includes two years of fills. He and his office staff are awesome. Good Luck!
  14. Got my second fill two weeks ago. It has really done the trick!
  15. YES, Absolutely. I was banded on 7/20, and am down 26#'s. Not a bunch, but I feel great. 48# to go. You will love Dr. Spivak, and his staff are awesome. Do this for yourself, I really think it has saved my life. View it as a weight loss tool. Good luck.
