just wondering how everyone is doing so far banded by dr a

hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know that I have been banded. Had my surg yesterday in mx. Dr. Alvarez and his staff were so great. I wen alone, and everyone was so welcoming from the driver (rosy) the wonderful nurses that took great care of me. Dr. A (very cute by the way) the hotels I stayed at were awsome. I am at one now. I leave tomorrow. I have very little pain, only gas pressure. I even went to walmart, target, and tj max today and walked for about 2 hrs. Getting up out of bet can be a little interesting. But I gt it done. For some rason i feel like a new person already. I have had no nausea or vommiting. Just very windy (he he) I am so ready to see my famil. I miss them so much. Good luck to the rest of you guys I know you will do great!

I leave for Mx tomorrow/ wll in a few hours. i am so nervous, i cant sleep. I am going alone so the nerves are getting to me. Everyone is making me nervous/ my fam and friends. One of my co-workers cried and told me that she didnt want me to go. should i take that as a sign and dont go? I want this, and need this fo my health. I gues everyone felt nervous before their surg, right? or is it just me?:nervous

anyone know of fill centers in nc?

nan, you have gotta give me some details girl, what was it like? how did you feel when you woke up? how was the first meal? were you in alot of pain? did you have everything you needed? Was there something that you wished you would have had? what was the hospital like? Sorry for so many questions. Im getting a lil anxious

Wow this thread is so helpful, My hubby and I are planning for one or two more. We have 4 right now all boys 10, 8, 5,5 we would love to have a lil girl (but what ever God blesses us with we will be happy)! we hae tried for the past yr to conceive but no luck. We we nt to a fert specialist to see if y tubes were blocked, if his sperm was ok= all was well both ways. So the Dr. told us it may be because I am overweight. I get banded 11/10/07 and cant wait to shed some pounds and gain a few baby pounds in the future!

I just got my samples of unjury (unflavored, van, choco, and chicken soup) Its great! I am looking forward to them. I have tried others but they dont compair. Unjury has no after taste, and you cn mix the unflav in just about anyting.:hungry:

I would like to see a picture of a pregnant band belly. I would like to have anothe baby as well. I have searched all over the net to find a pic, but no luck so far.

does anyone know anything about Dr. Alvarez, I have my appointment/ surgery scheduled for Nov. I havent read any post about him so far. His pt. coodinator seems very nice. Anyone know any infor on this doc?
