Hi all, tomorrow morning I will have a scope to dilate where the stomach and the intestines are now connected. I have not been able to br ogress to regular foods because most everything puréed I up chuck. The barium swallow revealed it is to tight at this connection. I am a little worried my food will go right through after dilation. Therefore, I will be hungry cause it goes through smoothly. Anyone heard of this? Any thoughts? Please pray IV goes in on 1st stick. This place has the hardest time with me and I have not been able to get the recommended liquid intake. Thanks Everyone!!

I love PB2 with SF Fiber grape jelly. The 2 mixes together w/o Water is Devine! Real PB definitely has to be in moderation. I ate real PB everyday. I'd freeze it so I wouldn't eat as much cause it was frozen and I put on weight fairly quickly. That was my go to addiction. pB2 does the trick now:)

I am almost a month out and I take bariatric advantage chewable 500 Carmel bites, one chew 2x's a day. They go down smooth and are so good you want another. They look like Carmel and easy to chew. The also have vitamin D3 included.

My doc said a cup a day, two max. No more having the entire pot. I had surgery on the same day, May 7th.

Thai Wednesday I will be 4 weeks out. My doc said I can start back up cardio kickboxing this week. I am scared cause I have been having dizzy spells when I stand up.

They scared me cause they put some machine on my stomach/bladder to see how much was in it and it was gonna pop. It's very awkward having 2 nurses working on that, tmi! You feeling alright tonight?

Congratulations!! I couldn't urinate after surgery and had to be catheterized twice. I finally was able.

I had my bypass may 7th. At each 2 appointments I brought a fruit basket to the office and then when everything was done and being sent to the insurance I brought the insurance lady at my dr office a fruit tray with a little note thanking her for her effort. I think it worked making my name stand out. Hope your surgery day is soon!!

Congratulations and thanks! It might be dehydration cause I just started with puréed food and cutting out Protein drinks. That's about 30 ounces of Water I cut out. I am excited for you! June 10th is right around the corner. I was in no pain & had a great experience. This is the first issue.
