  1. I was sleeved on aug 20 and I have been approved to have salad. I have tried it once so far and I didn't have any issues.
  2. My surgeon says no soda popcorn chips crackers or pretzels ever. Not because of healing but for the dietary value. He said these are trigger foods that we need to avoid.
  3. I am almost 1 month post op and I started to feel comfortable on my stomach around week 3.
  4. Honestly I was starving the first week after surgery. It probably didn't help that watched a lot of the food network all day lol. My surgeon moved me up to soft foods on week 2. My first 'Meal' was a scramble egg and I could only eat about half. Just hang in there and try to stay busy with other things.
  5. So I had my 1 week post op appt today and was given the ok to start on soft foods. I was so excited to finally eat something lol. I had a scrambled egg when I got home. I was good but definitely felt weird going down. I couldn't quite finish the whole egg in one sitting. This will take some getting used to.
  6. I was sleeved on wed (8/20) and I had bad nausea from the anesthesia. By day 3 it finally started to wear off. This was the first surgery I've had so I wasn't sure how my body would react to the drugs.
  7. Thank you iwhit. Yea I'm slowly coming back to life lol. I do feel better with each passing day.

  15. Wow aug11! That's great! What type of pre op diet do you have to do?
  16. I went through kaiser so cal options. They told us that even if you don't meet the 5-10% goal as long as you don't gain you should be ok. It's really up to the surgeon I guess. It may delay things if you gain any weight. Good luck with everything!
  17. That's great! I'm hoping for an August date so we will see
  18. So I am scheduled for my consultation with the surgeon on Aug 7th. I was told I will get my surgery date at that time.

  20. Not sure yet. Tonight I went to a support group at loma linda medical center in murrieta. My mother had Dr Suh for her surgery 3 yrs ago and she was at the inland valley medical center in murrieta.

  22. So I just received notice from kaiser that my referral for surgery has been created and I will be with Dr Suh. His office will contact me to schedule the consultation!
  23. Sorry to hear that. They don't really give you too much information about what to expect after the classes are over while you are going thru the program.
