The support is great not everyone thinks alike so there are questions others have that you didn't think of, in return that's more knowledge your gaining. Hang in there and go to as many as you can. This is a life changing event that will take place be aware & stay informed! Good luck to you.

  12. What advice would you give someone that's getting sleeved in September? From exercising, eating, vitamins, and anything else you could think of that they should start doing more or less of. How did you prepare & what would you've done differently?
  13. I also want to change my job location due to the new transformation I will be embarking on. I've lost about 15 pounds now and my coworkers are noticing so I constantly hear "oh your loosing weight". So I know later it will get more irritating. Most importantly I don't want to share what I've done being that they are always asking now. My advice to you is go for it. New beginnings!
  14. Thanks for sharing this. I will be asking the same exact questions as well.
  15. Good luck to everyone. I to am waiting to get a date. I'm still doing my preop classes and diet. I'm looking more to August or September.
  16. That's true Earthly people don't know what weight looks like. I for one didn't/don't. My friend look to be around 170 so I thought, but she's actually 201. I said no way I wouldn't have thought that at all.

  18. Very impressive! ????
  19. Thanks Vic. I have 4 more months on my own for insurance purposes. I'm exercising about 2 to 3 times -walking- a week and my pcp has me on counting calories to better prepare. I'm at 1800-2000 a day. I'm 5"6 about 252 was 263 but have loss some. I have attended a wellness class to help prepare as well. Any beginning info would be great. How did you prepare and what tips can do you have.
  20. I don't have a date as of yet either. I'm reading as much info as I can here. Everything has been helpful. I'm excited, anxious and nervous. I'm seeing dr Fontana and he seems to be great. I'm concerned with the preop diet I've been reading it's all liquids. What happens if I slip up and eat something, would the surgery be cancelled?
  21. Hi everyone. Thanks for sharing some of your journey. I'm in the process and not sure of my date. Hopefully early September. I'd really like some support from all of you as I am also in the Hampton roads area. Any tips would be great. Feel free to inbox me.
