  1. Feeling discouraged today. I really wish I had found a buddy to go through this process with for support. The scale isn't moving. I'm hungry and want to eat but then I can't. I'm thinking well the scale isn't moving I still can't eat crap so why did I have this procedure. Drives me nuts.

  9. Ok so I'm 23 days out. I get frustrated with what will I eat for the day. I pack my food but maybe not enough. I always seem to get hungry. It's like the old appetite is still here. I don't get it. I'm restricted but seems my body or mind doesn't think so. I get super hungry late evenings at work. I was able to eat an Amos chocolate chip cookie with no problem. That was too scary but even worse I willingly grabbed it and put it in my mouth. This strong appetite or head hunger I need to go away like now.
  10. @ "vluciano93" My dr told me I could eat anything soft pretty much. I eat soups a lot, cheese and mash potatoes. It goes down easy. I don't think I get enough protein everyday either and that could be why I'm always hungry. Seems to me my appetite has not changed at all. Loading up on protein I guess should keep you full. I get the benefits of having protein daily but if you got the part cut out that helps reduce hunger feelings then why have protein to stay feeling full. This is not what I thought it would be so far. I like the restriction of not being able to eat a lot at once but I still feel hungry as before. Not to mention this 2week stall I've been on. Maybe it will change.
  11. This is what I use. Got it from target
  12. I love that however I'm 20 days post op and couldn't imagine eating all that at once for a long while. Not even in a day. Maybe about 6 months out but I still think it would be a bit much for my misses. Lol. It looks healthy!!
  13. Same here. Lost about 24 and now it's at a stand still. Was sleeve 9/30. I've hit the gym been very active but nothing. I hope next week the scale can move at least 5 pounds. Lord knows I've thought of it enuff for it to just disappear lol.
  14. @ "aloudwhisper" I find myself tired at awkward times. Yesterday I couldn't get enough sleep so weird. I was on my way to the gym and turned around. I got super sleepy on the drive. The other day I had a ton of energy. I still feel very hungry at times. I try to eat a few times a day but I'm still not getting all protein in. Sick of the shakes and they don't taste good anymore. I'm assuming my taste buds have changed.

  16. Has anyone had an allergic reaction to any foods since sleeved? I find my face especially around my mouth itching. Do you think it's something I ate and it not agreeing with me anymore or maybe something else? I have no clue. Help?

  20. @ "mrsscott32" I'm just 14 days out and i feel like I'm starving. Whatever part that was removed to help control hunger must be still in me. This past weekend I thought I was going to go insane. I'm now on purée and mushy foods so hopefully it get better. I'm scared I still have that big appetite I pray it changes tho. I had mash potatoes yesterday about a cup and went down fine. That I couldn't believe but afterwards I took a nap about 5pm and didn't wake up til now 345am I guess I over ate idk but it was good. However the eggs I ate earlier I hated so that didn't work. Best of luck to us both because I'm feeling a little torn myself right now. Hope it get easier tho.

  22. So i was excited about eating mushy soft eggs. Low and behold my sleeve hated it and I didn't even like the taste. I just knew that was going to b my best friend. Any other ideas for soft foods other than cottage cheese? Thanks!
  23. Thanks guys great advice!
  24. According to my dr. I'm allowed to keep sipping and moving. Walking at a slow pace is fine provided the individual feel up to it. Now previous days I wasn't walking at 2.5 but I felt I could today. However my body told me to slow it down after 30 mins. Lesson learned. But I don't feel that was brisk or intense at all considering what I was doing prior. My dr did tell me to keep the length of time down and short but multiple walks are better.
