    BCBSIL ppo

If you have not met your deductible for the year then more often then not both will be due at time of service. I would call bcbsil and ask they should know more.
  4. Protein, protein, protein and water! I walk/jog 5 days a week and I play with my kids again.
  5. Finally in onederland! I can't believe it!

  6. Wow!!!! That is amazing! Congrats it must feel amazing. It is awesome! I am 7 weeks today and 198! I still cannot believe that I will never see a 2 at the beginning of my weight again. I feel great I can run with my kids without killing myself.
  7. This was a huge concern for me also. I am 7 weeks out and have had no problem with spice. I eat red or green chile on everything.
  8. I am not quite 2 months out yet but have lost 42lbs. I am 3oz shy of onederland I never thought I would be there again. The sleeve is the best thing I have ever done for me.

    Feeling "satisfied"?

I am almost 4 weeks out and having the same issue. I talked with my surgeon and she tells me that will change once I'm on regular food. I am still struggling to get my protein and water in so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

    Protein help!

I really like the vanilla creme from gnc. I mix mine with a little decaf instant coffee. It is good and has 24g protein in one scoop.

Not one of the lucky ones

I am only two weeks post op so no expert but I was having trouble with the whey protein my first week out. Called my NUT she suggested egg protein. Found some at whole foods it is more expensive for less. I got vanilla since I like to add other flavors in. It was not too bad it does have a little bit of an after taste. Good luck to you!

    2 weeks post op

I am also two weeks post op. I have been eating a lot of tuna. I like to mix it up and not just have it with mayo. It's great with salsa and avocado I eat this last and don't always have room. Another thing I've had is refried (without the refry) beans and green chile. I am so glad I'm not having trouble with spicy stuff!
  14. It is so exciting! I am close to onederland and have decided to reward myself with a night out with the hubby when I make it. Movie and dancing! I can't wait!

    Please help....

I just had surgery on the 9th so I'm not supposed to be eating purées yet, but I too have been sneaking a bite here and there. I am just always hungry and not just head hunger I mean hungry! If I eat one or two bites then I'm fine.

    Something is wrong

I was just thinking the same thing! I can eat 8oz of soup before I'm "full" but to be honest I think I could eat more. I also still feel hungry. Do you know what size your sleeve is?
  17. I'm with you. I can't wait for eggs! I'm hoping I'll get the thumbs up for puréed/mashed by Wednesday. I am struggling to eat anything. I drink about 40 oz of Water today and get down whatever else I can. Protein drinks make me nauseous. I am so sick of sweet tasting foods! I eat Greek yogurt, pudding, Jello, Popsicles, broth, etc. and everything is sugar free. I hate artificial sweeteners, but if I must eat them for now, then I must. To make a long story short, I'm not eating much. I'm not hungry either. All of the foods I can eat are off-putting. I know I need to eat, so I continue to try to get something in me. Going to heat up some soup now. By the way, I can only eat about 1/3 cup soup and it takes a bit. Yeah eggs sound so good and refried Beans too! I'm like you and tired of all the sweets. I can eat a whole 8oz of soup before being full. I also still get hungry which I thought would go away. I know I'm only 9 days out but I am worried I am going to fail at this too.
  18. Awesome today's day 9. Post op. How is everyone doin? What are you eating / drinking each day? I am struggling honestly to get my Protein in. I think I some how have become whey intolerant not sure if that can happen. I am drinking about 40-50 oz of Water daily. Also doing okay with Greek yogurt.
  19. I am one week post op today and I had severe nausea and vomiting the first 3 days. Changing to oral pain meds helped a lot! Since I have been home 5 days now I gave only had to use the zofran (anti nausea med) a couple of times. It will get better.
  20. That's awesome! I am 7 days post op as well. I can't believe how fast it's going.

    Thinking of Quitting- I'm overwhelmed

The first couple of days are the hardest! You can do it you just need some variety. I like the GNC vanilla Protein powder it has more protein then premier and I added a teaspoon of instant decaf coffee. After 4 days I wasn't even hungry.

    Any April Sleevers?

I had the same 24 hours after surgery. I'm only 3 days out and I haven't even been able to hold down 1 protein shake. I keep telling myself I can do it and it will be worth it. Even if I don't believe it right now.
