have a 1500 deducatable will that have to be paid up front? along with the 250 copay to hospital anyone savey on the whole insurance thing? :)

If you have not met your deductible for the year then more often then not both will be due at time of service. I would call bcbsil and ask they should know more.

I have BCBS IL PPO and had met my deductible, but I still had an out of pocket maximum that was only partially met for the year. The hospital sent me a bill. Ended up being about $1800.
