  1. Thanks so much for the info I have started last year with 5k run but never put much thought of running more than 5ks Ok so I need to look for some new shoes I hope I find a good pair of shoes lol thank again for the input
  2. Okay so two of my coworkers talked me into doing a marathon in November so I have 6 months to get ready I hope to be ready and fit by then Does anyone have any tips for long distance running?
  3. Well I dont go in for an other fill for 3 months I can go sooner but they want me to get used to smaller about meals before I get an other fill
  4. I'm on liquid diet for 1 more day and then I get to start to eat protein for 3x a day for two weeks after that I can slowly add different food to my diet

  7. What I got from my doctor was an online website to buy my protein shakes and vitamin ect. But I thought it was on the expensive side I'm not sure if this is the same thing your doctor was talking about though
  8. myths I believe that cannot happen from some of the lapband books that I've read dont talk about breaking while eat you can't break it from eating food that are too big the food that you do eat and its to big can go down it will get stuck and then it will come back up and make you vomit thats why they say eat small bites
  9. I got the lap band surgery on the march 31 so far lost 16ibs you lose more the first 3 week because you are on the liquid diet after that it slows down because he start eating mushy food and solid food so it starts to vary so I think you start loosing 2 to 4 ibs a week

  11. I'm so happy for you congratulations and just so you know when I got approved for the lap band I was scheduled for surgery the following week it goes by so fast

  13. Im only 3 days post op but I have been on the liquid diet for 10 days and have 14 more days to go and its hard but the way I look at it is it will be worth it at the end there's no going back now I can't wait for the next step of my lap band lifestyle
  14. I had surgery on the 31s I'm still very sore but still moving around it helps with the soreness
  15. this is really hard for me because at work I have two coworkers that had the gastric bypassand lap band surgery and they get judged alot by my coworkers and I didn't want to tell anybody that I was getting the lap band surgery because they don't understand the struggles and the lifestyle changes that I have to make an order for me to lose weight it's hard because people don't get it it might be easy for some people lose weight and it's harder for other
