Rollie pollie daddy's little fatty. My dad used to sing to me. I don't think he meant it to be mean and I don't remember it bothering me then. I do think about it now from time to time tho.

I'm on day 4 of my liquid diet and on our way to my pre-op appt and he decides to go to McDonald's drive thru to get him breakfast. I told him he'd better think ahead next time and eat at home before we leave. I will get my revenge though cause I will be starting puréed foods while he's on his liquid diet. Haha Not the same as McDonald's but I'm going to pretend it is dang delicious! lol

I'm on day 3 (liquids only for 2 weeks) and I would love to eat too. Although I'd have to say that today is easier than yesterday. I admit, I shed a few tears yesterday. I am determined to make it though. My sister said this to me and it makes things a little easier when I read it. "When it gets tough, just remember you've tasted everything and you will taste it again. I know it's hard." Good luck and best wishes!!

lol, thank you!! It's day 1 and right now I'm excited and so happy to finally be getting close to surgery. That could all change later when I'm starving tho. Haha Are those the Swanson's broths? I'm going to pick some up later today. I know there is no way I can do regular chicken broth so I hope these are good.

My EGD was so easy. Went to Walmart afterwards. My husband drove me. GL!

I feel the same way and I haven't even started my 2 week liquid only diet. I know that if I don't do this I will continue to be unhappy, uncomfortable and unhealthy. I have to keep reminding myself this. I also made a pro list to read that helps when I'm having doubts. Best wishes to you!!

Good to hear!! I start my 2 week liquid only diet on Monday and I am scared! My husband only has to do the diet for 1 week (his bmi is 41 and mine is 51). Bastard! Haha j/k Good luck & best wishes!!

since you've been sleeved? My husband and I are both getting sleeved in September. We have 3 kids (9,12 & 13). My daughter, the 12 year old, is very athletic (gymnastics, tumble & cheerleader) and has never had a weight problem but both of my sons do have some issues. The youngest is just a tad chunky but my oldest is very heavy. He has started an exercise program at my daughters gymnastic/tumble gym. 3 days a week for the last 2-3 mths (2 nights of crossfit and 1 night they meet at the track and run). So far no real weight loss. He sneaks food sometimes tho. Anyway, just wondering if your whole family benefited from your surgery. Thanks!

Email from my clinic and the same day I received notice of approval from my insurance in the mail. Took 16 days to get approval. GL!!
