  4. Some people have a hard time drinking just the protein drinks out of the box. Today I added a little more than half of a premier chocolate protein shake (about 8oz), half a banana, 1 tbsp of peanut butter, and a few ice cubes. Threw it in my ninja and it was delicious!!!! You can play around with measurements to fit the consistency you want! After next week I think I'll try adding some almonds!
  5. Thanks everyone! They had me on Norco (hydrocodone-acetometaphine) and that was the culprit. Most pain meds make you nauseas and even cause vomiting but since I've stopped taking them I haven't had a problem!

  7. I'm extremely excited for this next chapter in my life! However today after surgery I had doubts and regretted doing it only because I was in so much pain! I don't do well with anesthesia...it makes me extremely nauseas! And had pains in my chest from surgery. I told my nurse I would rather have another c section than go through this! The pain meds help a little but that zofran has not kicked in at all! I tried sipping a little but it just makes me want to throw up! Anyone ever have extreme nausea problems?
  8. Thanks everyone! Great tips! I'm worried about the sweetness of certain drinks because when I was pregnant I hardly ate anything for the first 3 months and my sugar tolerance went way down. Things are still pretty sweet for me and I had my son in 2012. Surgery is tomorrow! Been nauseas all day and I hope I think it might just be nerves! Also today an older woman asked me if I was pregnant...pretty ironic for me since my surgery is tomorrow. Can't come soon enough I guess Oh well looking forward to the next chapter in my life! Thanks again! Tomorrow I will join the sleeve bandwagon! Wahoooooo!!!!
  9. I'm having the gastric sleeve done on Monday! Would any of you mind sharing how you got your protein in the first two weeks that didn't taste horrible?
